I've had my iSpring 6-Stage Alkaline RO Filter for 3 years and absolutely LOVE it. After 3 years of use, you need to change the RO membrane filter. I wanted to make sure I ordered the right one, so I called their customer support and spoke with Don. No waiting. No phone menu of options to choose from. He just answered my call immediately and told me which filter to order, gave me tips on how to change it, and offered to send additional fittings in case I needed them. I wasn't concerned because I've always had my plumber change my filters, and it has always been easy. But after reading some of the more recent online reviews, I thought my plumber might have problems. So I called iSpring a second time and spoke with Nick -- again no wading through a phone menu before talking to a live person. Nick gave me more information and said they could expedite the additional fittings in case I needed them. This time I said yes. As it turned out, the filter change went as smoothly as the previous ones, but I appreciated the extra fittings and extra support from iSpring staff. And I really appreciate how support is such a quick phone call away. Thanks much, Don and Nick. I'm enjoying my clean water and the money I save from not buying bottled.

I've had my 5 stage iSprings system for about 5 years. It gives me better than bottled water quality but since I fill a stainless steel container, it avoids about 10-12 plastic bottles every day (YES, I drink a lot of water). It's very important to change out the filters periodically. I was very good and did it at 1 year, then it slipped to maybe 18 months. I was on my 4th filter change-out. The RO cartridge and other early stage filters have always been easy and never a problem. However, for this event, I could not get the 5th stage final filter to stop dripping. I went on the Amazon order page and selected "contact seller". A nice person named Sean reached out to me. Buying things unseen always presents a risk but not with iSprings. Sean informed me of his immediate actions to send me replacement parts but also took the rare step of conveying a feeling that no matter what happened from this point forward, he was taking ownership of my success in getting the filter back on- line. The replacement parts arrived and also leaked but Sean sent a third set of failed parts and a bit of hose. That did the trick. I think possibly my old tubing had gotten brittle such that it was preventing a good seal with the o-rings. Maybe I hadn't pushed it far enough into the fitting or maybe it kinked. for some reason it wasn't making a good seal. Each time I pulled out a failed connection, I could feel new imperfections on the outside of the tubing. I cut it off each time between repeat attempts. I didn't not pull out the new successful tubing to see if it has this same phenomenon. The only downside of this or any other under-sink system is that is takes up space and that involved some negotiation with my wife so as to not have supplies piled up around the filter unit. Anyway- if you are deliberating an under- sink filtration system, I highly recommend the iSprings system. It has everything a person needs to drink cool clear water. It is easy to maintain. If you have some problem, iSprings will jump in the foxhole with you to fight whatever you may be battling.

iSpring provides a quality product, but more than that is their customer service. I had a problem (after 10 years) and Larry at iSpring helped me to work it out. Pointing out what I might need (hadn't changed filters in 10 years) and gave step by step instructions on what I needed to do. System is up and working fine! Ken

Great product(RCC7P-AK), great cusotmer service (special thanks to Nick) for help on fixing my problem. The system runs flaw less once setup is done appropriately. Dont have to do multiple follow ups like other company cusotmer care services.

Good product

Usually, people don't think about water filters often, but filtering elements need to be replaced regularly. In the case of a reverse osmosis membrane, its lifespan is 2 to 3 years depending on usage intensity. Personally, I believe it’s better not to wait until the membrane is completely worn out and to replace the filtering element when you can visually assess that the water quality has declined, doing it a bit in advance. Most importantly, you need to clarify which membrane is necessary for your filter (if you're not sure, it's better to ask your cleaning lady). I have an iSpring RCC 5 filter, and the membrane fit perfectly. Based on how much the taste of the water improved after the replacement, it was definitely time to change the previous one! The price is also reasonable. Overall, if your filter needs a replacement, you can confidently go for it.

Don't waste your money on cheap imitations! I have heavy amounts of minerals in my water. Not quite hard, but way up there. I bought the reverse osmosis system to provide water for my whole house ultrasonic humidifier. It worked great for 2 years, then the water output decreased to the point it was obviously time to change the membrane. I got one of the cheap knock-offs & it was an unmitigated disaster! I replaced the aftermarket membrane with the OEM one & everything was back to normal.

This was easy to install and with a little reading from the filter system manual most anyone can do it in a short amount of time. It's a high-quality membrane from a reputable company and can filter a wide range of contaminates up to 99% efficacy. It's the only membrane I will trust with my Ispring filter system!
