UniBond Quick Grout Triple Protect Tube Cream

The grout was full of liquid when opened and then too hard to use, could not understand why until I saw the August 2019 date on it, It is now December 2019, would never buy again, Totally waste of money

I read the bad reviews and knowing this product might be out of date, I decided it was worth the risk at the price I paid for the small touch up job I had to do.Yes, the product I received was a few months out of date so before I opened it, I gave it a good shake and massage the tube for a while. This did the job perfectly and I wouldn’t tell any difference. Note, I only require 1/3 of the tube.

I am revising my initial review where I said it was easy to apply and had good colour.It is all of that BUT This grout is not that convenient or waterproof as described. When you get to the small print you will find that you can only use it on shower walls, NOT FLOORS.. And then you must leave it for 48 hours to dry. and overnight before buffing!! .The only thing fast about this product is the the fact it comes in a tube. . I would recommend using the standard grout waterproof instead. You only have to mix it.. Not that difficult and probably will cure faster. .. Also if you have a loose tile, this grout has no adhesion properties, unlike many others. Don't waste your money.

Product was out of date by several months on arrival. Appeared squeezy in tube but couldn't get it out - on cutting tube open, huge solid lumps were the problem. Item went in the rubbish as no use.

Despite negative reviews I find this great, it has been open over a month and is till useable, the colour is exactly what I need and it is great as a touch up filler and repair, rather than redoing all the tiles. It does break and chip away after a while with use but I just redo in minutes and it is all fine. I also found if you dampen with water on the top this does help stop cracking.

Order.... previously ..tried it.. works prefect. So order it again....was not enough...so order another last one again!!! Seller was cheeky to price up the original price lol... But ya worth the money tho.

Arrived unusable, I cut the top off, and attempted to squeeze it out, but bits were solid or liquid. This is the second one like this, the first time I assumed it was me as I had, had it for a week and kept in utility, so thought perhaps it was wrong temp etc in there.However second one I used soon as it arrived and exactly the same problem.

At first it came out watery then thickened up slightly but still crap to use as grouting. Then it went solid and was almost impossible to squeeze from the tube. We used adhesive from Unibond from Wickes and just assumed that was a bad tub- old stock- as that was too runny as well.If I could have given NO STARS I would have.Would never trust a Unibond product again.
