Wireless Home Security Driveway Alarm 1 Receiver and 1 PIR Motion Sensor Detector Infrared Alert System Kit

I originally purchased this to alert me if someone walked up on my front porch. It worked so well I ordered more to go two buildings on my property because I didn't want the expense of installing alarms. Set on high the alarm makes an obnoxious noise that can't be heard outside the door. It works as a deterent since the person who walks past the senor hears the noise & thinks it some kind of alarm. Then I discovered they also work to keep mice out of my car. I live between two hay fields. When they were mowed in the spring I found mice had gotten into my car. I set the sensor on the passenger seat, opened the glove compartment and no more mice! I ended up buying two single packs and a double pack. The batteries last a long time and they are water proof. They are definitely worth purchasing.

Love this Driveway Alarm. At first I thought it was going to be cheaply made due to the price, however, I was surprised! The first one I owned cost me over $50 and was way more difficult to assemble. This one was 3 times cheaper and only required some batteries. Firstly the distance from the receptor and the doorbell sensor is amazing. (At least a couple hundred feet.) My husband stood with the kids outback holding the sensor while I walked through the house and out front where our mailbox is holding the receptor. All the while the doorbell never stopped going off. This works great for me since the doorbell sensor is actually going to be placed down a long driveway that's a good ways from my house. Also I'd like to say that I love the volume regulator. Personally I keep mine on loud so that I can hear the doorbell go off no matter where I am in the home, but there is always an option to turn it on low. There is a wired option in case you're not into the whole burning through batteries like me. All an all I may purchase this again when the building for my studio comes in, so we can have two! Definitely handy!Pros:- Covers an extremely long distance between Receptor and Sensor.- Has a wired option so you don't have to burn through batteries.- Has volume control.- Way cheaper and same or better quality than most.Cons:- Does not come with batteries (No big deal for me really. Be sure to have a C and a 9v ready)- Does not come with the wire needed to switch from batteries to power cord.

Excellent.Alarm goes off when motion detected in driveway.Only problem is alarm is way too sensitive.Goes off when blows constantly.

Real person, real review.It's loud when sounded. It does pick up wildlife at 3am hah It does sometimes not pick up every vehicle that comes in the driveway. Overall satisfied Give me a piece of mind. It doesn't come with batteries.

This is the third one that I have purchased, the first one died after a year and a half...the replacement never worked, and now this one also doesn't work/won't come on. Brand new battteries, tried thee times. I give. Sending this one back as well.

I got this to know when the Amazon guy had come to my door to deliver. I put the transmitter outside by my steps and the receiver inside above my bed. Oh boy does it work. Every time Amazon guy comes to my door which is just about every day he sets this off. I like my Amazon guy. I like this door alarm also. I was pretty happy

Perfect for my long driveway to know if someone is coming up. A bit too sensitive at times, as sometimes it goes off and nothing is there, maybe a bird or something.UPDATE:After having now for a week, I can tell you that I get a LOT of false alarms. I have it secured to a utility pole that is 40 feet from main road up my driveway, and there is literally nothing in front of it for over 200 feet, yet I get alarms. I can be sitting on my porch and hear the thing go off with nothing at all crossing in front of it, so I"m not sure its the best way.

Bought as replacement for unit brought several years ago. Very happy with new unit. Will stick with Amazon and vendor.
