After four months...decent wireless earbuds, but definitely room for improvement
After four months of nearly daily use, I would have to say I feel more "take it or leave it" with the Rowkin earbuds. At first I made a common blunder of accidentally ordering a different, single Rowkin earbud (as in singular). Returned that easily enough and got a refund which I applied to these Rowkin earbuds. No complaints there as it was my mistake and Amazon handled it smoothly. This doesn't affect the review, but figured it should be mentioned.===PROS===- Very compact, neat solution for earbuds.I hated cords or the thought of losing wireless earbuds rolling around in my bag. The charger pod makes it easy. You just drop the earbuds into their holes, they magnetically click into place and being charging, and you have one nice unit to transport them in.- Sound quality is better than expected. For earbuds, you can never expect too much in terms of sound quality, but I was pleasantly surprised with these earbuds. The fitment is great (with additional sized silicone pieces provided to fit ears of different sizes) and they seal the sound in nicely. I often find them blocking out a lot of outside noise and keeping whatever I'm listening to sealed in.- Rechargeable.I didn't want to have to be dealing with button batteries or any of that nonsense, so rechargeability was a must-have. Just pop them into the charger pod and they light up red and start charging. I've only ever seen them in this charging state for a maximum of two hours or so.- Battery life.I never had the earbuds die on me. I imagine you could if you used them long enough, but there are other issues there (see Cons below).===CONS===- Inconsistent connectivity, cut-outs.This is something I mainly noticed when I had my phone in my pocket and I was walking around. I'm a tall person so it means the distance is a few feet between my phone and the earbuds. Occasionally one ear bud would cut out and after a few seconds come back in. More often, BOTH ear buds would cut out and not come back for 3-10 seconds. However, your phone won't see them as disconnecting, so any audio will likely continue to play. This would get rather annoying as I'd be listening to a podcast, miss some important piece of the conversation, then have to pull out my phone to go back. I found this happened LESS if I placed my phone in my backpack (thus keeping it closer to my head and the earbuds). I did NOT experience this when I was just sitting in place (even with my phone in my pocket). This is by far the biggest detractor of these earbuds; I would seriously give these five stars if it wasn't for this issue.- Not good with audio that stops and starts a lot.I use a language learning app while on the train that will periodically have a native speaker say a sentence or word in another language. I found that when using these headphones, I often don't hear this at all or only hear the very end of it. It's like they don't know they're supposed to be playing audio until a few seconds into audio playing on your phone. If I have the app immediately repeat the sentence/word I can usually hear it completely the second time (as the earbuds are still in "audio playing mode") but if I wait long enough (5-10 seconds) they leave this mode and the same thing happens again where it cuts off the beginning of the sentence/word.- Uncomfortable for use over 2 hours. This can't be completely unexpected of earbuds, so it isn't that big of a detractor. I noticed discomfort started after about two hours of continuous use so if you're needing something to use for longer than that...maybe go with some over-the-ear headphones.- No way to physically identify left earbud from right earbud. This probably isn't a big deal for most people and there is an audible notification upon powering up the earbuds. One will say "Left Channel" and the other "Right Channel" ... but by this point I usually had them backwards and would need to swap them. As I said, not really that big of a deal as most people probably don't really care which channel is which and swapping them isn't that difficult. It'd just be nice if there was a little "L" or "R" printed on them.===THINGS I'M NOT SURE ABOUT===- Use for exercise/vigorous motion.I never used these earbuds while running or anything, so I can't speak to how well they would stay in for that. I imagine they would do okay and you'd be more annoyed with the lack of continuous connectivity, at least if the phone isn't strapped to your arm.- Charging other devices with the charging podI never had a desire or need to do this, so I have no idea how well it works.Overall: If you're in the market for wireless earbuds, these are a decent choice provided you'll be using them while mostly still or with your phone close to your head. Otherwise, I'd probably wait for a later generation of these to come out with better connectivity or look elsewhere.- Using earbuds for phone calls.Never tried to have phone calls with these ear buds.

Small, Unobtrusive & Fantastic
For what they are, these are fantastic. I wanted small, unobtrusive bluetooth headphones for working out, running and doing chores in/out of the house. These fit the bill perfectly and I caught them on a daily deal which was a nice bonus. I am a bit of an audiophile and sound quality matters to me, but I understand the shortcomings of Bluetooth and these headphones are no exception. They won't blow your mind in terms of their sound quality, but they sound good enough. Their higher and lower frequencies are poor and there is very poor instrument separation. The actual soundstage is surprisingly decent though. The way these charge is pretty awesome. They come with an external battery pack which has two magnetic slots the earbuds "plug" into. You simply place the earbuds near these slots and they snap into place via magnets allowing them to charge inductively. The charger itself has a battery bank that can recharge the headphones 15 times or it can charge your phone (only 1 charge) thanks to it having a USB (type A) port on the bottom.I haven't had any issues in terms of either earbud losing connection like some people have reported. However if I leave the room (without my phone) I lose connection very easily. This is one of the reasons I dislike bluetooth as the range is not the greatest.Pros:-Small & attractive-No issues with them falling out (even during intensive workouts)-easy setup-Stereo sound-Carrying charger has great battery length-Inductive/magnetic charging is greatCons:-Sound quality isn't great-Bluetooth range is poor (<10ft for me)

Don’t bother... the tech just isn’t up for the challenge...
I had such high hopes for these when I got them.I purchased them to replace my Power Beats 2 that I broke. My fault in not keeping them in the case they came with.At the time, I had an iPhone SE that they were paired with. The two major issues were connection and sound. Two issues with the connection. The ear buds would either loose connection with the phone, or loose connection with one another, leaving only one bud with sound. The phone would be in one of my pockets. The other issue was the sound. There is virtually no base, just treble and midrange.I stopped using them after a couple of months and pulled out my old wired buds, eventually gluing back together my power beats 2 and using them again.Fast forward 6 months, I went ahead and got the new Power Beats Pro TRUE wireless buds and they sound amazing. Great range of sound, especially base, crazy long battery life, and never loose a connection. Matter of fact, I can be 20 feet away from my phone two rooms away and I have full and great sound.Don’t bother with these, the tech just isn’t really up to it.

Case design flaw with large tips, good otherwise.
Used twice so far, sound quality is good and I have had no issues with music cutting in and out so far. I bought them to wear while working out, and like almost all earbuds I have tried so far, when I workout hard and start to sweat, they constantly slip out and I have to push them back into my ear. I have tried the medium and switched to the large which is slightly better, but the problem persists. Also, slight design flaw- when you have the large tips in, they are too large for the charging case. The earbuds will still go in and charge just fine, but when I pulled them back out the tips came off and became stuck in the case and I had to use tweasers to pull them out! Has happened every time. I'm going to swap out for some sweat-proof 3rd party ear tips which hopefully will stay in my ears with no slippage. All other points considered, I really love these earbuds and if I can manage to keep them firmly in my ear throughout a hard sweaty workout, I will give these 5 stars.

More than happy with these little wonders
More than happy with these little wonders. Sound quality is great, plenty of battery life in my opinion which was a negative for a lot of reviewers and they look great. The added bonus is that the charger pack can be used as a portable battery for other devices i.e. your mobile phone. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the Bluetooth connection isn't the strongest but it's not a deal breaker.

Minimum.

Cuts out
Expensive for what they areInstructions to use are not that clear (another review here on Amazon is actually the correct way to pair them)Bluetooth seems flakey, keeps cutting out in a single ear and gradually fades back in over the course of 5 seconds so you do miss a lot of content
