Danica Studio Cotton Shower Curtain, Odyssey Print

Like most reviewers have said, the fabric is great quality and the colors are rich. I wanted to see a picture of the entire shower curtain before I bought it, but I'm glad I just went ahead and ordered it because I love it. I uploaded a picture of the whole thing, since parts of the curtain are covered up in the original image. Hope it helps!- -Update August 2016 - I bought this shower curtain June 2014. After two years, it still looks as good as new and I'm completely happy with it. Unfortunately, it seems that people are now purchasing this same shower curtain but getting something different than I did when I bought mine. My 5-star review is for the amazing, all cotton, $49.99 curtain I bought from amazon. Now this listing is from a 3rd party seller and the price has been slashed to $15. I've added a couple more pictures taken closer to the fabric so you can see the cotton/texture. If yours doesn't look like this, it's not what is advertised here.I just want people to be aware, since there are tons of very positive reviews for this and now I'm worried the product is some crappy discount version and people are going to be tricked. I hope amazon fixes this, because I want people to be as happy with their awesome mermaid adventure shower curtain as I am.

This curtain is fabulous! The design is exactly as expected (and other reviews were also helpful to figure out what it truly looked like). Great quality of fabric. The holes for the shower curtain rings are sturdy (there was a review that said it was cheaply done and not reinforced--however, my curtain is fine and well-done, for good reinforcement for the curtain's weight, whether dry or wet). I haven't washed it yet (so don't know if colors will fade), but so far, all is well. It's white color allows a good light to seep through into the shower area. And, the curtain's 'steam-punk' / Victorian, Jules Verne/Moby Dick design goes great with my white-walled, bright turquoise blue, ocean-themed, octopus sea-creature theme. I watched this curtain for MONTHS, and I'm so glad I finally took the plunge. My bathroom is now complete and makes me smile everytime I use the room. Very peaceful, fun (and with such fun literary and film musings that its theme projects! Me and my guests: "What is its story?"). Well-done, Danica Studios!

I read some of the negative reviews before buying this, and I was concerned, but decided to risk it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. I am a graphic designer, and I found no problems with the quality or resolution of the printed image. There was no pixelation. Image appears as shown online, and is very crisp and clear. The material seems fine to me as well, sort of a light canvas, seems durable. Mine did not come with rings, but I was planning on buying those separately anyway. Colors look accurate compared to online images. I can only assume that whatever problems people were having with the image quality were addressed already. I read from some of the negative reviews that you have to check your seller and make sure you're buying directly from Amazon, or you might get a badly printed knockoff, so that's certainly worth checking before purchase. Regardless, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Great value for the price!

Edited to add in November 2014: I just bought a second. My husband--who is a huge guy--slipped in the bathroom and was caught by the shower curtain, which kept him from falling into the tub. A couple of the loops tore, but it was largely intact. So it's not only a lovely shower curtain, but a potential lifesaving one at that! If I were the sort of person who could sew, it would be an easy repair (okay, actually, I tried and it didn't work out so well)--but I figured I'd get a second and cut the first up and stretch pieces over frames to hang in the bathroom.**I waited months for this shower curtain to arrive (on what seemed endless backorder) and had almost reconciled myself to never receiving it. But over the weekend, Amazon came through and it arrived today.It's awesome. I love the Odyssey print by Danica (enough to have purchased three bags, four tea towels, and one small tray with the pattern, and have been fighting the urge to buy the matching mugs) and since I've had a nautical-themed bathroom for years, it was just perfect.It came in a cloth reusable bag that has the info about the shower curtain on one side, and a small panel of the print (featuring the mermaid) on the other. Another bag -- hooray!My only concern is that the button-holes don't have grommets, so I'm concerned they may tear over time.

Oh my goodness, I know this curtain is a bit pricey, but wow! It is perhaps the coolest curtain I have ever seen in my entire life! We have a nautical themed bathroom for our sons and this curtain looks absolutely phenomenal in there! We've gotten so many compliments over how amazing it is. One of my favorite purchases all year! The fabric is dense and of the highest quality, plus the presentation is amazing - they sent the curtain in a special canvas bag with the same print on it - an unexpected plus that can be used as a book tote or even a small beach bag for your towel and sunscreen and snack. So cool! I would recommend this to anyone who wants their home to make a statement and who wants a high-end quality product. ~Melissa
