I have been buying cheapo $3-$5 umbrellas from Walmart for years. They last maybe one season or less, so they break and I just keep buy another one and another one. I am tired of being stranded in the rain when it does break so I decided to spend a little more and buy a real umbrella this time and I am glad I did. So far it appears to be awesome. I haven't had this umbrella long and it hasn't been in the rain yet, but the feel and operation of it is great. I realize it's new so the springs and mechanisms haven't had a chance to wear in (or out) yet but as of now, the opening function is fast and snappy. Also it's not crazy hard to depress the button to open or close it, nor is is hard to collapse the pole when I want to close it. It feels solid and if it really does hold up to 100mph winds, not that I plan to be outside in that sort of weather, but if it can withstand that much wind and IF they really do offer a lifetime replacement warranty, then by all means, this umbrella is well worth the $23 paid. Given the build quality and the lifetime replacement warranty, I don't see why I would ever need to buy another umbrella for myself. This one is great! I wouldn't mind trying out one of the $160+ umbrellas Amazon sells, but I ain't got it like that. Some day maybe. I wonder if there are people who would notice that you're carrying an umbrella like that if you did. Like some Women can spot an expensive purse or shoes being carried by someone. I wonder if there there Umbrella aficionado's. Like I can spot an expensive tool if I person is using it.

Looking for a lightweight and small umbrella for travel, I bought the Amazon Basics, Repel, and Umenice for something even lighter. I decided to keep 2, and I chose the Umenice and Repel, in that order. But this also seemed an overall good umbrella so read on. I weighed them myself: Umenice 9oz Amazon 13oz Repel 14oz I measured the diameters myself: Umenice 38.5" Repel and Amazon 37.75" The Repel and Amazon are very similar, both auto open, both vented designs which theoretically makes them less likely to invert in strong gusts. The Umenice is quite different, due to its silver UV-resistant fabric, manual open, and unvented. While each was open, I shook each violently up and down as if wind gusts were attempting to invert the umbrellas. The Repel 9 rib design was noticeably stiffer/sturdier than the 8 rib Amazon. Surprisingly, the Umenice 8 rib design seemed much closer in sturdiness to the Repel than the Amazon, despite being 8 rib and unvented. Perhaps the different fabric on the Umenice played a part in this. The handles on the Repel and Amazon are larger and easier to hold on to than the Umenice, however, the handles on the Repel and Amazon also have a considerable amount of 'play' between the umbrella shaft and the handle, meaning they will twist and turn noticeably in wind gusts, which is something I found mildly annoying with my last umbrella. I think this may be an unfortunate side effect of all auto open umbrellas. Another slight difference is the storage sleeve is a tight fit over the Amazon while the Repel and Umenice slide in more easily. When I bought, the Repel and Umenice we're both about $30, while the Amazon was $17. I was going to buy a Repel umbrella with a design on it to help it stand out, but I read that's accomplished with another layer of fabric and I wanted umbrellas as light as possible. The Repel advertises a lifetime warranty. I chose the Umenice first because it is noticeably lighter and smaller for travel than either of the other two, that's my most important quality in a travel umbrella, and I don't care much about auto open, particularly because that feature still requires two hands to fully close the umbrella. And in fact it seems to require 'loose' handles which to me makes a net negative. I do wish the Umenice had a slightly larger (yet still lightweight) handle which I think would add less than an ounce but make it easier to hold. I also wish it was vented, but it surprisingly held to my wind gust scenario seemingly nearly as well as the vented Repel, and definitely better than the vented Amazon. Finally I don't love the silver UV fabric on the Umenice and wish they also offered a more traditional fabric, but in theory that's an additional benefit and it does seem to be a considerably more waterproof fabric than either of the other two (which are so thin you can see light through them). The lifetime warranty with the Repel is great in theory, however it's nearly twice the price of the very similar Amazon and personally I know from experience it will go missing (not covered under warranty of course) before I went through 2 Amazon umbrellas so I don't consider that of particular benefit. It being sturdier and 9 rib is, so I'm going to keep the Repel as an extra, and for long-term comparison to the Umenice.

I had this umbrella for about a year. I live in an area where it rains a lot and loved this umbrella for it's size, easy of use and quick drying. I had noticed that the velcro closure was not working anymore from wear. Then we had a windy day with strong gusts and one of the ribs broke. I saw they have a lifetime replacement so I reached out to the company. They were extremely courteous, only asked for photos and sent out a replacement FAST. After receiving my new umbrella I see they updated the velcro closure, it is much more sturdy. I also have the peace of mind now knowing I can always just get it replaced. In today's world you can't beat buying any product for a reasonable price and getting a quality item with a lifetime warranty like this. Great umbrella by a superb company.

I love this umbrella but I have it 4 stars because it’s just too heavy to be considered a travel umbrella in my opinion. It works really well in wind and I love the bright pink color. Definitely recommend if you want a well made durable umbrella.

This is just like the picture. The color is just like the picture. This umbrella better fit my teen. It is nice and compact but a good back up to leave as a spare in your car or at your desk.

This is a great umbrella! I live in Florida where we have often have wicked winds with our frequent thunder storms. I feel like this umbrella will not invert like all others have when i use it. It is a little heavier and a little harder to collapse the handle than other umbrellas, but i chalk that up to better materials and construction. The carrying case has a bonus shoulder strap so it will not weigh down my purse when i take it with me. I am pleased with my purchase.

actually does the job. Under this umbrella, I don't feel the heat of the sun and when the wind blows, I don't feel like it will blow away. It's easy to use and lightweight. I especially love the case with all the different pockets!

I received a flimsy, pink striped, low quality umbrella that doesn't match the price or description at all. Requested a return.

自動開閉でかわいいデザインの折り畳みがなかなかありません。 今はこちらを使ってます。 電車内で長い傘だと満員電車になった際、自分も不快だし周りにも迷惑をかけるので折り畳み傘を使っています。 重いし、コンパクトではないですが自動開閉なので納得して使ってます。 付属のケースは多分傘作成時に余った端切れで作ったのかな？単色の傘と同じ生地の簡易的な袋がついてきました。 なので、中にマイクロファイバー付きのケースを買って使用しています。

Şemsiyeye gelecek olursak 9 adet tel kullanmışlar ve gayet güçlendirilmiş bir iskelete sahip. Kolay kolay ters dönmüyor ve şimdiye kadar da dönmedi. Üzerinde bulunan havalandırma boşluğu sayesinde rüzgarda ters dönmesinin önüne geçmeye çalışmışlar ancak henüz deneyimleme imkanım olmadı. Otomatik kapanıp açılması gayet randımanlı çalışıyor. Bazıları yayın sertliğininden dolayı şemsiyeyi kapatırken zorlanmış ama bence ideal bir sertliği var. Ne çok sert ne de çok yumuşak. Büyüklüğü tek kişi için ideal ama iki kişiyi kesinlikle yağmurdan koruyamaz. Kumaşına teflon kaplama yapmışlar ve çok iyi olmuş. Bu sayede kumaşı yağmuru çekmiyor ve ufak bir silkelemede üzerindeki suyun büyük çoğunluğu dökülüyor. Ancak şuna dikkat etmeniz gerekiyor: Şemsiyeyle işiniz bittikten sonra içininin ve dışının iyice kuruduğundan emin olmadan şemsiyeyi katlayıp kılıfına koymayın. Çünkü her ne kadar teflon kaplama olsa bile bazı küçük su damlaları hala daha şemsiyenin üzerinde kalabiliyor ve bazen aç-kapa yaparken iç kısmına su sıçramış olabiliyor. Eğer iyice kurutmadan katlayıp kılıfa koyarsanız zamanla kumaş üzerinde pas lekesiyle karşılaşabilirsiniz. En önemli avantajı ise ömür boyu garantili olması. TR için bu hizmet mevcut mu bilmiyorum ama yazıldığına göre mevcut diye düşünüyorum. Son olarak şemsiyenin sevmediğim bir özelliğini belirterek yorumumu bitireyim. Tutma sapının gevşek olmasından ötürü bir boşluk mevcut ve şemsiyeyi tutarken hafif sağa sola dönmesine neden oluyor. İleride bir sorun çıkarır mı bilmiyorum ama biraz rahatsız ediyor beni.
