Superb forearm builder
I had been looking for a heavy duty forearm builder similar to the all steel unit a friend of mine welded up 25 years ago that had to be mounted on a concrete wall. I sold that unit when I moved and always regretted it. All the units I've seen on line featured a skinny grip and you had to hold it straight out in front of you with no support. Try doing that with 50+ lbs. Doesn't work. This device is superb in every aspect. Great, heavy duty rubber grip with steel bearings. Best of all the top strap can be connected to my lat machine attachment allowing me to load up on the forearms with no strain on the shoulders. An easy 5 stars. I've been training hard for almost 50 years winning national titles in powerlifting and later bodybuilding. Trust me when I say this unit is the best.

and I am really glad I made the purchase
I have been using wrist rollers for about as long as I have been working out. The one that I got the most use out of was a homemade piece that I made out of PVC pipe and a string. That being said, I was hesitant to spend $140.00 on a piece of equipment with such limited use, but what caught my eye about this particular product was the 2 inch fat grip and 3 inch ball grips on the ends. I thought that this unique design would add more variety to my grip and forearm training.I have had this wrist roller for about two weeks now, and I am really glad I made the purchase. To be honest, I am hesitant to call this thing a wrist roller, because it is more like a "forearm machine." It is very well constructed, easy to set up and is now hanging on the back of my power rack. I thoroughly enjoy the variety it has brought to my training, specifically the option of twisting the ends like you would a door knob. This is the movement that I find most difficult to re-create with other forearm/grip training implements. It is also very easy to reverse any motion, by simply rotating the suspended handle 180 degrees in either direction. I have been doing high reps with this thing at the end of my workouts and find that it is a perfect forearm finisher. Thanks for a solid and effective product.

I also used the end of an oly barbell with a band (which is great) but the grip freak is better..
I've used the ironmind and rogue rack mounted wrist rollers as well as home made rollers that are a simple pvc pipe that rotates in the J cups on a power rack, I also used the end of an oly barbell with a band (which is great) but the grip freak is better.....having the balls at the end gives you a dimension of training the others don't have, you can get your sledge levering type moves in one efficient workout. Also, you can hang it anywhere so it is "portable" and does not take up the power rack. I take it out to the swing set and the kids roll which has improved their slap shots in hockey....this convenience will increase the frequency of your training....the pleasure of using this high quality piece of equipment makes me look forward to training. Mix this with thick towel pull-ups and zottman curls and you will be amazed!
