C9 Christmas Lights 25Ft Multicolored Outdoor String Lights with 26 Ceramic Edison Bulbs(1 Spare), C9/ E17 Base, Hanging Vintage Multicolor Lights for Christmas Party Backyard Wedding Decor

We had a rough year and my parents wanted to pay for some fun Christmas lights for us (super nice!). I thought it would be fun to get the same ones we had when I was a kid, but was having a hard time finding the old-school C9's until I searched Amazon. I was a little nervous ordering something so fragile online, but all 5 boxes arrived fully intact and they look GREAT! So nostalgic and totally brightened up our house. I'm very happy with them! The lights aren't SUPER bright, but brighter than I expected from incandescent bulbs. They give off a really pretty glow! And it's more of a warm light, which I like. The only negative is that the replacement bulbs they include are ALL orange. I'm not sure why. NOTE: When all the strands were up and we plugged them in, we saw several lights were not lit. We immediately went to Target to buy replacement bulbs, but then we realized the original bulbs were fine - they just weren't fully screwed in. So if you notice some bulbs are not lit, check that they're fully secured before buying replacements lol.

We used these on our fruit trees when we get those nights below freezing but after the tree has budded out. These put out a decent amount of heat, but not enough to actually burn you. Just enough to keep the trees alive. I dinged it one star on Durability since there was one dead bulb when it arrived (Note: it comes with 1 extra bulb), and one more bulb died the first night. So buy spare bulbs. But the light string itself works just fine in light snow when wrapped around peach, plum, and cherry trees.

Great light set and seems to be heavy duty and looks great.

I bought these lights to use in a Halloween display as the theme was Stranger Things. I set up the display at my husband's workplace and on the first night, one bulb died. The light pack comes with one extra bulb, so that was not a big deal. Then I set up the display on Halloween at my home to give out candy from. Another 4 to 5 bulbs died before half the evening was over. I do not recommend these lights at all.

These lights are great, super bright and colorful, but they get very hot! I was nervous about leaving them on inside so I returned for some LED lights instead.

I’ve never warmed up to the look of led lights, so I wanted to get some old school lights. Looking around I was worried about these kinds of lights over heating, but with these particular ones, I’m not worried. After having them on all day they were warm but not uncomfortable to touch in any way. They look absolutely lovely, and, as luck would have it, we had our first snow the night after I installed them. I can’t speak for longevity yet, but so far I’m happy with these! Update: It is now March. The lights were used all winter and I'm looking to buy another strand for the patio now. So far they have held up great!

The lights are slowly dying one by one. I’ve put em up in December however two weeks later one light went off. I was able to tighten it and it was fine. A couple days later another one had the same issue, however it didn’t turn back on after troubleshooting. I replaced the blub too..nada. I don’t expect these to live long. They are a pretty and cheap alternative to the original lights tho. Bulbs were plastic.

Very bright. They are glass so very fragile- broke a bulb taking it out - luckily light string ships with an extra bulb. Put them in my jack-o-lanterns! Perfect!
