Caseology Vault Protective Case Compatible with Google Pixel 6 Case (2021) - Sage Green

The case is lighter and more compact than other options for the pixel, which makes it fit just that much better in your pocket or small purse. It feels great in the hand, and the minimalist texturing on the back works surprisingly well to not let it slip. It's certainly not the most protective case out there, and the light color means it will show dirt/stains from your pocket much more quickly. Still, that's not really the case or seller's fault. I'm very pleased.

I have a Pixel 6, and the bezel-less design means that if I set the phone down face up, all I see is black. The trouble is that I travel a lot, and black is the color of most rental car seats, trunks, carpeting, etc. So I set the phone down, and cannot easily find it 'cuz it blends in with all that other black.Anyway, I went looking for a case that was a different color, was not comically oversized or look like it was designed in clown college. I tried many, most were either too bright, to slippery, or did not protect the phone. Finally, a friend of mind suggested I try the Caseology case. I am glad she did.From the moment I unpacked it, it looked good, and fit like a glove on the phone. The rubber is grippy without being sticky, and the corners have a little shock-absorbing design that should protect it from a drop. The texture promotes just enough friction so that it won't slip out of your hands or pockets. The rubber covering the buttons all fit, and allowed for super-easy button pressing.But most importantly, the color extends up the sides and along the top edge of the phone, so if I set it down face-up, I can still find it in a dark rental car. BEST. CASE. EVER.Overall Grade: A+

Overall this case is very nice. It is understated and looks good on my Pixel 6. It fits very snugly and does not flex out from the sides at all. The raised lips around the camera bar and screen provide good protection when setting the phone down.I do have 2 issues with the case. They aren't enough to make me stop using it, but are enough to take away 1 star.Issue 1: The sides of the case where you grip it are smooth and a touch slippery. Not nearly as slippery as the bare phone, of course, but just slippery enough to not provide 100% confidence. I don't know why they didn't continue the rougher texture from the back of the case around to the sides. It would have helped tremendously.Issue 2: With larger phones like the Pixel 6 I tend to hold the phone with my thumb on one side, my 3 middle fingers wrapped around the back to the other side, and my pinky finger curled up with the phone resting on the side of the top knuckle of the pinky for support. Unfortunately, the cutouts at the bottom of the phone for the USB port and speakers all have fairly sharp edges. With the weight of the phone resting on my pinky, the sharp edges of the cutouts irritate my skin and make it uncomfortable to hold the phone this way for long periods.Like I said, overall it is a fine case and I do like it. It would seem they could make the case perfect with just a couple tweaks to the design and manufacturing process.

2.5 years later, no signs of wear. Dropped the phone a few times, no problem.

I love this case! It's thick material, feels good in my hands, the texture gives great appeal and functionality. I was worried my finger ring wouldn't stick to the back bc of the texture, but it's been a few weeks and has stuck on great. Would definitely recommend for a cute, simple, minimal look!

I always used to get otterbox symmetry cases for my phones, but they only made clear (future yellow) cases for the pixel 6. This case does everything the symmetry used to, AND has a phone charm attachment point. The corners won't pop out without decent effort, and my tempered glass screen + camera protectors fit just fine with the case.UPDATE: It has held up great for the 2 months I've been using it. It has saved my phone from an "oops" moment, in which I tried to catch it but ended up tossing it even higher. A 5ft screen-down drop onto hard tile later, and not even the case had a mark on it! The phone didn't pop out at the corners either, which I feared may happen from how it looked when I first put it on my phone (it doesn't seem to have much of a lip extending over the screen area).

Since the Pixel 6 is becoming a bit outdated, the stock for these is understandably lower. My first case was also from Caseology and stood up well for over a year and a half. I only replaced it because I wanted something new. Bought the Spigen clear case and despite having "anti-yellowing technology", it yellowed in just weeks.Glad to have this brand of case again, just wish I had snagged the grey one when I was first looking.

I've had this case for over a year now, but it started discoloring immediately. At first it was a blue time to the edges sure to being in my jean pockets, but as I handled it, it became the brown you see in the photo. It's quite unappealing and I'm finally putting a new phone case in my Christmas list due to the aesthetics.That being said, this case has a nice grip, and despite being textured, easily supports a popsocket (see photo). It has protected my phone well, and I haven't even developed fractures to my glass screen protector in spite of occasional fumbles and drops. If it weren't for the discoloration, I would keep it.

It fits perfectly. It feels thick, substantial and robust. I have complete confidence it will keep the phone protected from every day drops and bumps. It has a good sized lip for the screen and camera bump that doesn't get in the way of the screen protector. Buttons feel responsive and clicky. I like the texture on the back that provides grip and doesn't attract fingerprints. Cut outs are perfectly and everything just feels high quality overall. When I hold the phone this case really makes things feel solid and secure.I got the urban grey which I think looks great. I wanted to avoid the green sage because of the discoloration issues, and black seemed too common and boring. The urban grey has a nice modern, minimal aesthetic. Not too dark or light.
