Bosch 3x EXPERT S471 Standard Sanding Block

I’m in the middle of decorating and needed to prepare doors, woodwork and a couple of radiators before painting. This pack appealed to me because it includes medium, fine and superfine blocks, giving me different grades for working through the preparation.The foam blocks are comfortable to grip and much easier for me to control than loose sheets of sandpaper. They moved smoothly across the surfaces and removed what I needed without having to press particularly hard.Each grade has its own colour, so I could identify the block I needed immediately. The grit is also printed on the end: 180 medium, 240 fine and 320 superfine.They worked well for the decorating jobs I bought them for, and at £3.98 for all three, they were good value. My doors, woodwork and radiators are now sanded and ready for painting.

Did a decent job at getting the finish off this wooden lid, water squeezes out well. Sponge design was good for getting into difficult crevices but not for very tight spaces. Overall would use again.

Theses small handheld blocks are really good for sanding things down. They sit in the hand well and come in three different grades.

I’ve tried a few different (cheaper) brands and found they wear out quickly but these Bosch ones last longer. Happy with that

Good shape, easy to hold. As it is made from sponge, it is easy to sand curved surfaces. Much easier and more comfortable than using a sanding block.Why not 4 or 5? Simple - due to sustainability. Had these been designed with replaceable covers, or a way to extend their use, I’d be a little more impressed. But as it is, they are simply another disposable product.

Wir haben damit unsere Küche abgeschliffen und mit Kreidefarben neugestrichen. Das war kinderleicht, so dass auch die Kinder mitgemacht haben und ihren Spaß hatten. Durch die verschiedene Körnung kann man gut variieren. Die Schwämme sind immer noch fit für weitere Einsätze! Ich würde sie jederzeit wieder bestellen! Sie waren schnell versendet und sogar günstiger als im Laden.
