Sounds awesome!
Makes very unique noise. In a way it's easier because there are two separate notes, but also harder for the same reason.Unfortunately I dropped and broke mine about 5 minutes after I got it :( already ordered a second though.Really cool. I'd love to see more like this, maybe a triple or a double with different notes. My one complaint is that the handle is very small, so it's tiring to hold.

Not as easy as you might think
I got this for my son, who is very musical. He busks and performs on stage. His musical style is a fusion of punk, rock, and folk. He loves learning to play different instruments, the most recent one being an accordion (a definite work in progress!). He is enjoying the challenge of learning the mouth harp.It is not easy. This is very well made but there are 2 things that this should have come with: an instruction guide and a case.Highly recommend.

Weird sound but cool for meditating because of the strange vibrations that go through your head

Weird, but good
I have to be honest and admit that I only ordered this jaw harp out of simple curiosity. I have no musical skills whatsoever, but as I get to test products for free with Amazon Vine I was fascinated when I noticed this seemingly simple instrument being sold at an unusually high price. I needed to figure out *why*.After playing around with it for a couple of hours I still can't answer that question (though I've never used a cheap version of this instrument, so I have no frame of reference), but what I *can* say is that this is not a model intended for beginners. I watched a couple of instructional videos to try to get to grips with the basics, but the biggest lesson I've learned is that there's an incredibly sharp learning curve when switching from a single note harp to a two note harp. This instrument has two tines, one of which plays a C and the other E. The C tine has a handle that protrudes a little further from the frame, and I find that note quite easy to play with the grip I've learned. The E tine, on the other hand, is a real pain in the butt to play while trying to maintain the position of the harp in my mouth. 90% of the time I get a bum note. Now of course this is entirely down to my lack of skill and practice. Nothing wrong with the instrument at all, but my point is that if you're just starting out you should go for a one note harp. This is the advanced version, and it's deceptively tricky. Is it worth it? I honestly couldn't tell you, but it certainly *feels* like a finely tuned and well made instrument. It comes well packaged against a foam block to keep the tines from being damaged in transit, and all in all it has a very solid feel to it.I've no idea what rating this deserves but I'm gonna give it five stars. It wouldn't be fair to award anything less given my ignorance of the instrument.

Mouth harp with a learning curve
I am new to this instrument but always like to learn to play something new. This is a duo harp, seeming more advanced that a single harp. I was able to make sounds by following some instructional videos online. This product does not come with instructions or a link for online resources. The harp is a sturdy stainless steel. I am looking forward to continuing to practice and play. Recommend for someone who has used a single harp or an enthusiastic beginner. Three stars because some instruction or website from the manufacturer would be really helpful.

Really needs a case for the price
The harp is well made of quality materials, so it is as expected. My biggest issue is... If ever there was a need to include a carry case... this is one of them. Especially at this price point.I always wanted one of these... I thought this would be easy to learn and good one since it has two notes. Wrong! Since there was no instructions included, I turned to YouTube. Even after watching several videos, I personally could not get very good sound out of it. But to be fair, my daughter, who played these in the past made it sing... so It is me and not the harp. This two note harp is, in my opinion, not for a beginner. It is as described and pictured on Amazon - 4 Stars from me.

seems well built
I've never used one before, i was able to figure out some sounds with a few youtube videos. but after knowing what i know, i would have purchased a single reed harp first. it is clumsy and large to learn on.that aside, there is NOTHING wrong with the harp, it sounds great, it is easy to use once i learned how. and the construction seems very well put together.
