It's an ignitor. It ignites as it should. Not much else to say other than it does what it should.

Very easy to work with once I found a you tube video. Overnight delivery was fantastic, because we were going on our third day with no heat.

So far the item has been working well with igniting the gas heater...

Last week I discovered my gas furnace wasnʻt heating. Neighbor of mine had HVAC training; I asked her to come and give me an assessment of whatʻs going on after I watched the YouTube videos and did my research and couldnʻt figure anything out; there was no reset button, no flame, and I was mystified. It took her a few minutes to look for the igniter and find it, and when she pulled it out, there was a little break in one of the prongs. The wires looked a little scorched. I ordered it on Sunday from Amazon, it just arrived (Tuesday evening), sheʻs already been back and gone, and I have heat! No charge for the diagnosis or installation, and $18.75 for the part. You canʻt beat that. "Pay it forward."

Normally I would give five stars, but this isn't really something I can rate until I use it, and I keep it on hand until I need it. It's the same as what I have used in the past, and that was perfect. But, with that said, I don't really know if it will be as expected due to the cardboard box in which it came packed with other things being crushed. It looked like something heavy fell on the box. The box of the ignitor was intact, but these things are delicate. I'm relatively sure it will be okay, but again, it's one of those things that you don't know is okay or not until you use it. Hopefully it's fine.

Excellent fit to replace another one from Norton. Not much more to it. Works exactly as it should. Very good packaging.

Burned out my old ignitor because I didn't change the filter. Put in an new ignitor (and filter) and after I pulled for a couple of seconds the plastic pressure tubing so the switches could reset, it fired right up...Change that filter often!

Easy to install took less than 5 minutes. Be extremely careful installing and do not touch the igniter with bare hands. The Harness did not match the defective part but by cutting the harness and using supplies connectors worked perfect. Polarities do not apply.New product arrived in a secure box and foam liner.

Packed well.arrived undamaged. Comes with ceramic wire nuts so wrong plug doesn't matter.
