I'm a plumber. I Was very excited to get this product. I have used similar products with plastic parts. I was hoping that these would overcome the disadvantages of the plastic.Unfortunately, they did not perform as well as I'd hoped.First, I hate the 3/8 square socket. I don't know why they didn't just build a shaft/arbor into these but I hated this design. Not only did it prevent you from pulling the pipe out while using it on a drill but, I don't think it was going to last after using it several times.And also just didn't clean the pipe well. I think a lot of this had to do with the separate 3/8 square bit that drives the cleaner. The loose interface gives you less control. All you can do is push it on when you're using with a drill. Can't move it back and forth or move the pipe in and out. The bit will immediately pop out of the cleaner.I think it would have functioned better if the depth of the hole where the wire brushes is a little deeper. The wires near the end become useless extremely fast. You would have to have almost perfect alignment during insertion and use to not have that occur. That likely isn't going to happen even if you had a rigid shaft attached to this tool. It probably needs to be a quarter inch deeper so that the first quarter inch of the wire brushes can basically be sacrificial and you can maintain a full length of usable wire brushes behind it.Last of all. I feel like the wire brush just didn't have enough tension on the pipe. That also made it so it didn't clean very well.I really wanted to like this tool but it can't match the performance of the cheaper plastic cased versions I had used previously.I will keep my eye out if they redesign it.I wish these had issues that weren't so critical that I could deal with. However, they can't do what they are supposed to do and these take even longer to do what other products available can do an even better job of.Give these things a rigid hex shaft make them a little deeper I think they would probably be best choice for any professional.However as they are right now... If your professional considering buying these like I did I would pass.

Fast delivery and way better then I was expecting for the price. Each one comes in its own case and packaging is stellar. Already used them a few times and not at all dissapointed
