For one bottle of Scentiva, this price is utterly ridiculous, plus shipping? Why is this so much? 3 bottles for that price would be fair.

Amazon is the only place I can find the refresher. Maybe the item is no longer being produced making the market price higher. This happens often when items are no longer being produced.

Is there a trick to actually spraying this? I have tried both the on setting and it will not spray.

It works for me when I turn the nozzle to spray
