Great Item!
I recently purchased a used Dell computer and after installing a fresh version of Windows 7, I found that the computer would crash at least twice everyday. I ran a memory test and discovered that the memory installed in the computer was faulty. I purchased this memory in the hopes that it would eliminate the problem. After installation, I not only solved the crashing problem, but there was a huge gain in performance as well. I am extremely happy with this purchase and in fact plan to purchase another memory stick in the near future to bring this computer up to it's fullest potential. I highly recommend this product!

Dell Optiplex GX520 Compatable
Our franchisor upgraded our CRM and the new software was SUPER SLOW on my desktop. Purchased this RAM and watched a youtube video on how to install it. SO EASY, even us non-techies can do it! Increased my speed a ton and everything seems to work faster and with less problems. Product arrived well packaged and was easy to install. Great buy if you're looking to speed things up!

Wonderful upgrade for Dell Optiplex GX520
I was upgrading a Dell Optiplex GX520 and based on recommendation of other sites, they told me to buy PC-5300. The Dell website also said buy PC-5300 when I entered the service tag number. That advice was bad because the computer will not start with this type of RAM installed.I looked at the actual number of the existing RAM and it said PC-4200/444. So I did a search on Amazon and found this item.The description said it was compatible with the Dell Optiplex GX520. When I got the RAM, it was small in size (same length) but once I popped into the computer and turned it on, it instantly recognized it and gave me the message that the "MEMORY WAS CHANGED" on the boot screen.I just HIT F2 to continue. Looked at the system information and it says 3.5GB of RAM installed. That's because my PC can only run up to 3.5GB. I have two slots so this upgrade was well worth it.Great price and fast delivery from AMAZON PRIME.

Something sad
Although I bought this memory with the specifications of the motherboard, I have left a bad taste in my mouth because I do not recognize more than 2.8 gb, my operating system is Windows 7 x64.
