Duralight Furnace Hot Surface Ignitor Direct Replacement For Trane - American Standard IGN00026 / IGN00030

Arrived quickly as promised in generous foam packing with no damage to very fragile ceramic element of this hot-surface ignitor. (Manufacturer's carton shows warning to ship only in rigid outer container, but was shipped in soft plastic envelope.) This Duralight part fit exactly where original Trane part sat. Even the electrical connections exactly matched original plastic connector leading to furnace control board. Before starting instal, I chose to lightly wrap the ceramic element in paper toweling to cushion it and keep fingerprints off it. Even if paper not completely removed after instal, it would burn away harmlessly. Ignitor has worked flawlessly for 8 days.

Winter is on the way and my furnace would not fire up. After some troubleshooting found the ignitor faulty. I was please to find a replacement offered via Amazon. The ignitor match my specifications, arrived within in a couple of days, installation was easy, and the furnace fired up once I buttoned up the furnace. This ignitor has been working flawlessly since the installation. Thank you! :-)

The wiring is reverseable, connects either way ,hot goes in and out .Worked great ,make sure you bracket does not touch one of the wires or it will short out ,and cause a Big Bang ,the blow your breaker . like happened to me
