Power One ACCU Plus Size 312 Rechargeable Hearing Aid Batteries

I have been getting these rechargeable hearing aid battery's for years. This is the 4th time and they last as stated for around 6 months before needing replacements. They charged on day one overnight and last the whole day. My 91 year old mother is very good at placing them every night in the charger next to her bed. I am so happy not to be dealing with the regular battery's, as they are dropped and lost so easily. I save the regular ones for times she forgets to close the charger door. But the follow night I replace them and we are back in business. Well worth the price and saves on the aggravation of using regular battery's.

My Widex hearing aids would stop working any time I would even think about breaking a sweat. Usually they would recover if I put new batteries in. So I theorized that the moisture was actually getting into the batteries air hole and stopping the batteries, rather than causing the devices to malfunction. I was hoping these batteries would not have that problem because they are sealed. This proved to be the case, and I can wear these on a warm day or while working outside and not have the hearing aids shut off. The charge life is slightly disappointing, in my devices they last not quite a full day. Perhaps 10-12 hours. So, you have to have a second set in the charger with you. For me that is a reasonable tradeoff. I don't know yet how long these last or how many charge cycles I will get. I also noted that my hearing aids function for quite a while after the "low battery" warning, these don't drop off as quickly as they go down so you don't have to change them right away (if you don't mind the nagging voices in your head).

I will never buy these rechargeable batteries again! Extremely poor performance. The holding charge is never consistent. The maximum performance is approximately 5 hours on a good day. I bought 3 packages at around $25.00 ea. or $12.50 per battery. The charger works as described so I don't have a complaint with it other than a little pricey and I got it for about half what some online stores were asking for it. I'm planning on selling everything and hopefully get back what I paid for the charger...they can have the batteries. I only recharged them 14 times so they are supposed to have about 980 recharges left.

I am very pleased with my purchase of these rechargeable. The pair of rechargeables I got from my audiologist were only lasting 8-10 hours and this simply was not long enough to cover my two jobs. Unfortunately, my audiologist left private practice and is now working in our local Sam's Club and I do not have a membership. So I needed a new supplier. Anyhow, these batteries have worked for over 3 weeks and are keeping their charge about 15 hours each day. This is just long enough for me as my work day is from 6 a.m. - 7:30 pm on the days I work both jobs.

These batteries charged and appear to work well. If they last for a year they will have paid for themselves many times over. My only complaint (and this is a big one) is that I wish that the RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES WERE DISTINGUISHABLE FROM NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES BY A COLOR. If these get mixed up with the non-rechargeable you might as well order another pair. One other problem with the rechargeables is that they will only hold a charge for 10 - 12 hours. Mine usually die early in the evening. When they come out with longer-lasting rechargeable batteries for hearing aids I will use them but until then, I prefer to use the regular ones.

After using my Siemens aids for several months, I reluctantly bought their charger and it is great - Except! One my aids failed and my audiologist sent it back to Siemens for repair. I removed the battery and got by with one aid for a few days. When I picked up the repaired device the audiologist took the other one to "Pair them up" and shortly returned and it put them in and they worked perfectly. That evening, at bedtime I put the aids in the charger and, lo and behold; the alarm light came on and I immediately knew that she had replaced my batteries with fresh ones, which is their routine. I brought it to their attention and they are going to replace it with the proper rechargeable battery. Bottom line: I recommend these batteries whole-heartedly, but make certain that if you take them in for service, let them know that you have rechargeable batteries in your hearing aids!

I always like to have an extra set of rechargeable batteries "just in case". If you have hardwood floors, I especially recommend having spares! Every once in awhile, my battery will fall out of my hearing instrument (Siemens) when I'm opening the battery part. That usually happens if I'm taking them out during the day and putting them in a box, rather than charger. One of my instruments fell out of my ear just as we arrived home from Australia. The battery fell out and bounced on the floor. there was no finding it, even after several efforts of looking under furniture. Having a spare rechargeable battery, along with non-rechargeable batteries saved the day! BTW, these batteries from Power One have always had the longest life.

Despite bearing the correct part numbers etc. as the original batteries in my hearing aid unfortunately these batteries will not accept a charge when connected to my original charger. When first received I inserted them into my hearing aids and they worked OK. but when docked in the charger nothing happens. Is there some secret that will allow charging.

I use these in my vario hearing protection for shooting. They last far longer than the single use batteries. I have 2 sets that I cycle.
