It WORKS!!!
Pros:Wireless ControlsWhole Bed vs Half Bed Toggle for single peopleWarmth settings are good.Cons:Wires may be felt by sensitive individualsNOT WATERPROOFPrice is rather highDid not come in a zippered bag for storage later on.Batteries NOT included. While I have only had this matress pad for a day. I must admit upon opening the box it came in, I was of two minds. The packaging left much to be desired. The matress pad and accessories were in an open plastic bag which means in the future, some sort of third party storage solution will be needed.I wanted to put the matress pad on immediately, especially seeing as it took over a week after I ordered before it arrived, which I attribute to Amazon's supposed issues with manpower right now as once it shipped it arrived within 2 days as is normal. However I did not, because the remote requires 3 AAA batteries (NOT Included) and between my busy schedule and pandemic hours at the local stores, I was unable to acquire batteries until I was already too fatigued to bother putting the thing on.However, the next day (the date of this being written) I had more time to myself to mess with things like this and was able to set it up. I sleep on a queen size mattress in a 5th wheel which has a storage area under the bed, which meant I was worried about those wires which the very quality looking user manual states not to put between the mattress and the bed frame but shows the wires underneath the bedframe. I instead had to route the wires along the edges of the bed and there was PLENTY of length left over although that may not be the case for a King size bed.Once it was installed, with batteries in the remote, I found the toggle switch on the underside of the remote that allows for controlling the temperature on the left and right sides of the pad in one fell swoop (perfect for me). I got in bed, started messing with the controls, found that I needed it on the highest setting for my feet, at a moderate level 5 for the center of my body, and a modest level 2 for the head of the bed.I took the best nap I have had in YEARS and even after getting woken up by a call, I was able to fall back asleep quickly.I do think a few things could be improved though. First and foremost is the fact that it is NOT waterproof. I know Sunbeam has waterproof heated mattress pads so why isn't this "premium" model waterproof?A non-closable bag isn't adequate packaging for something like this either. Even the cheapest sheets come in a package I could easily store them in later on.I also know Sunbeam makes some batteries or at least puts their name on some I regularly see at the Dollar Store. One set of 3 AAA batteries wouldn't go amiss even if they would die fairly quickly it would be nice, especially considering the price point.Lastly, while I did not notice the wires once I was in bed laying down, It is hard for me to believe Sunbeam hasn't found a way to make the wires less obvious and I know others might notice. After all, I know people who can't sleep on sheets unless the right amount of fabric softener is used, meanwhile I have had my phone under me without waking or realizing until much later.

Fantastic for a Toasty Night Sleep on Cold Winter Nights
I bought this mattress pad because my landlord keeps the heat rather low at night and I tend to always be cold no matter where I am in the winter. This Mattress Pad has been a game changer but one warning: it makes your bed so cozy warm that you may never want to leave it especially on a cold winter morning!Pros:- The zoning is great for this, especially if you are someone who gets cold feet in bed but doesn't want to have your pillow roasting. Also if you are freezing at night but your partner runs warm, you can only adjust your side which is a nice feature.- The Remote control - you don't realize how fantastic this is until you have it. Previous models did not have this and the last thing you want to do if you get hot at night is get out of bed to push the floor panel button to turn off the unit, Also I would forget to turn it on before I got into bed and would have to get out. Now with the remote I can adjust everything without leaving bed.- Automatic off is great so you don't have to worry if you have left it on after you get to work!- I ever use it as a heating pad for my back on days where my back is hurting me or even for monthly cramps.- The heat options work....they work really well...almost too well (see my cons below)Cons:- Heat - even on the lowest setting you can find yourself roasting in the middle of the night. It's a great feature to have on really cold nights however on cooler fall nights you may find it to be too much especially if you have a really heavy comforter or down comforter. I would find that on some nights I would wake up with no covers on me and be completely fine (which is very unusual for me). My significant other also gets cold easily and has mentioned that if feels like " being a rotisserie chicken" on some nights. While this can be a con - I actually just think it's a statement to how strongly the product works.- Setup - there are a bunch of wires that need to run under the bed up to the head of the bed to be plugged into the wall, I have also found it to be temperamental when not plugged into the wall (i.e. if you are using a power strip)All in all.....I don't think I could make it through the winters without this!
