Well made, nice holder - works with any 1/4 20 accessory (camera, laser tape, etc.)
I accidentally ordered this - no idea how. When the pole arrived I had every intention of returning it - until I saw how well this thing is constructed. I have several telescoping poles that I use for hanging drywall, holding up cabinets, and pinning tarps to form a temporary wall. This pole telescopes more than those do - up to 11 1/2 feet. It can also be used to pin tarps, etc. At first I was confused by the locking mechanism. I tried to turn the plastic coupler. Nope. You turn the pole sections to lock them. The top several inches is a shock-type spring thingie. You extend the pole, compressing that against the ceiling, then tighten everything. Works great. This pole included the mounting hardware for a laser - it's basically a synthetic clamp that would attach to ANY pole, with a snap-in bracket with the 1/4-20 thread. This will hold a laser tape, camera - anything with that thread. I'll probably use it as much for my camera as the laser tape - tripods tend to get kicked over on the job. It's also impressively heavy.

Solves my problem for mounting my laser level in doors
Works great, stretches to ceilings higher than eight feet and the laser level mount is easily adjustable. Unfortunately, the base came with some pieces broken off. It looks like the base is a simple replacement, but Bosch customer service could not help me. This take away from the experience somewhat.

A Far Better Value Than You Expect!
I was quite reticent to spend nearly $100 on a telescoping pole for my GLL3-80 Laser Level thinking how could a "broomstick" cost so much. I was very pleasantly surprised when this showed up on my doorstep. The telescoping range is far longer than you think, and it is SOLID. It feels very durable and quite heavy, promising to endure many years on the jobsite without protest. While this product is arguably overkill for most (a consumer does not necessarily need the durability and features provided by this mount) it leaves nothing to be desired; it holds whatever length you set very well, has rubberized, non-slip ends, and is spring loaded so your laser level does not come crashing if you knock the ceiling or fail to adjust the height properly. I would recommend this without reservation to any user but will venture that the features and quality offered by this mount are perfect for years on a jobsite and actually merit the cost.

Broken right out of the box.
When I took this out of the box the swivel foot fell right out while the pole section was still in the package. The materials feel good, other than it being a little heavy, but assembly is obviously lacking. Imagine owning this for a month, the bolt works its way out, and it was too late for a return. There you'd be with a $120 festivus pole and an angry scowl. While having an extra festivus pole is never a bad thing, there are much cheaper ones to be had.

Easy to use and very handy
Easy to use and very handy. I've used it in my living room to hang pictures at an exact level as well as my garage to install shelving. I have plenty more uses to come. I measure to desired point on the wall and place some blue masking tape. Then I slide the level up or down until the laser is touching the top edge of the masking tape. I couldn't get a tripod to aim high enough for many of my uses so this pole really adds a lot of versatility to the laser level.

Very solid construction
This unit is very well built and will pretty well hold any laser unit with the 1/4" x 20 thread mount. Once you get used to the locking system it is a breeze to use. It was well packaged and arrived in record time with no damage. Thanks Amazon

Great quality and value.
Very heave duty, I bought it for my lazer level, works well but remember you need something over head to lock the pole to. Definitely worth the money if you need one. I didn't use it as much as I thought I just set my laser on the floor or us a camera tripod.

Super useful!!
I bought the Telescoping Pole to attach my level for tiling tub surrounds.I had no issues mounted my Dewalt laser level to the bracket.Easy to setup and adjust the height of the laser level - the pole saves working space, especially in a small rooms.I would agree with other reviews that the pole is extensive, however its very useful and well built.Definitely beats stacking random boxes and items to get the right height..and then knocking the stack over.

Comparing Bosch GLL3-80 3 laser to Dewalt DW089 3 beam laser line
GLL3-80 3 plane Leveling- Alignement is the best laser level I ever purchasedI have purchase the dewalt DEWALT DW089 Self Leveling 3 Beam Line Laser in july 2015.I have a 16 feet ceiling in my shop a did som e test to find out that the laser was more than 1/4in offset on 16 feet ( which means 1/2 offset from 32feet). After 1 week, I decided to bring it back the dewalt laser to the reseller, because I was eligible for the 90 refund if not satisfied with the product. The seller did not want to refund me. I have contact Dewalt directly, on mid july 2015, they've open a case did not have any news from them since.I don't think they will ever refund me. I am thinking of posting a video in youtube showing the difference between the 2 laser.Meanwhile, I have purchase this bosch and been using it since the 3rd week of July and am very satisfy with this laser.
