Better than plastic ones I had been using. I use these for floral arrangements, for cemeteries. I push them the blunt end in the Styrofoam and the spike into the ground or into additional foam in vases. The length alliws them to stay for ling periods of time. Had some survive an EF4 tornado Works great! Will purchase again.

they werent an exact fit for my existing solar lights (i assumed majority of outdoor lights were a universal size for these). i slowly tapped each stake into the bottom of the light with a mallet hammer. at times the bottom of the lights cracked a little but i used electrical tape to fix that. once i stuck then back into the dirt it all looked brand new again. an ugly fix but it def worked rather than buying all new lights.

Insert is larger than original lights!

I purchased these as replacements for solar lights i have outside. I didn't realize how tall they were compared to the original but it works out great. It actually gives slight height to the lights but more so it's sturdier since it has more of an anchor. I'm purchasing more and just replacing them all.

I had 3 battery led garden lights the gardener damaged. Though I was going to have to throw 'em away even though they still worked. Replacements were about $9 each. These "stakes" fit perfectly and allowed me to reinstall the lights; almost identical to the originals. Great value.

First one I used broke immediately

If your intended use is for landscaping lights, you may want to look elsewhere. there is no notch/opening for the cord, so you cannot get lights flush.

The measurements in the description were not exact for the diameter of the replacement stakes. My stake had broken on my Noma solar garden lights and I searched for replacement stakes. I thought these were the perfect size for my solar lights but the stake slid inside the tube of the solar light. I made it work by using lots of duct tape.

No good for cold weather

Didn’t fit was too big so not useful at all
