Not as advertised
I am still in the process of installing these so i cannot comment on the performance just yet. However, the listing shows a yellow colored hole punch tool while the one provided is black. It doesn't seem like a big deal but it is very frustrating knowing that if you got the advertised color you wouldnt lose the hole puncher as often because the black one blends in with the soil. Also it is tiny which doesn't help.

Just installed 183, all were perfect. Black side OUT!
All of them installed (using the yellow tool to push down makes it a heck of lot easier) in a 40 PSI system and they're all operating perfectly - except the one I dropped in muddy water before installing, had to replace that one. They ONLY operate with the black nozzle OUT. I installed one the wrong way by accident and nope, nothing came out of it - all the negative reviews that they 'dont work' obviously didnt bother to read the instructions. There is some variability on the water flow between the emitters but it's not much, with 80% of them the flow was the same, 10% were low and 10% were high. Maybe a quarter of a gallon per hour difference one way or another at the extremes. Of the 183 installed two emitters flow is quite low and will be replaced. Unknown cause, highly likely problems are from me handling them with muddy hands. The anti-drain feature is a lifesaver! I used them to for watering a 130 foot line of arborvitae with a 5 foot elevation difference between the top and bottom tree and when the water turns off they bottom ones dont leak and the pipe doesnt empty from sucking air in the top ones. This'll keep crud from getting sucked into the emitters. They're also a lot smaller than I expected, about 3/4 the size of the emitters you see in the big box stores.

Customer service
I was unable to use this product with our system. The vendor gave me add'l information on how I might make changes that would affect the product's performance. Was still unable to get water thru the emitters. But, I give a 5-start rating for the great customer service - additional guidance and no-questions-asked return. Only wish I could have gotten this product to work. It is not the product that was defective. It is my older drip system .🤔

Great for DIY jobs
These one gallon per hour emitters work great. They are easy to install using the included puncture tool. This works great with irrigation tubing but you may need a drill and small drill bit if you want to use water hose. I would buy these again.

NOT inline, and I say that because
... I bought not reading all the reviews or fine print. oops. Hurried. But they LOOK like inline. ha! However, that is not why I didn't rate great. Mine have nearly all seemed to plug up after running them just a few weeks. Oh, but I LIKE that little yellow tool... Fits perfectly in my dripper plastic repair kit, and that hole punch on it is way better than my metal-tipped one. I also love the underside of the tool, where the hole is. I used it over and over to force the drippers onto the ends of T'd tubing, after my hands got horribly sore from shoving them onto the tubing without the tool. I mean, it seemed like miles and miles of tubing for my gardens. So, I did not return them, because I needed them to water. -Replaced many of them now, with inline drippers and rerouting. Under half of these drippers are still patent. I am keeping this little yellow tool forever. I run a well to water with so in all fairness, I am not on filtered city water.
