Stale
These cookies are stale to the point they look unsafe to eat. They also have strange pale spots on the chocolate coating and do not have an expiration date on the box. Probably expired long time ago.

I can't even give these 1 star
I look forward to this style of cookie every year at Christmas. I've enever had a problem getting th3m from Amazon before. These cookies are.so dry and hard that they are unedible! Are they cookies left over from last Christmas???I'm so disappointed!

Stale and very poor quality.
These arrived and they were stale- very disappointing especially given the price. The quality of the Lebkuchen itself is also poor and the chocolate looks old and is not spread evenly across the cookie.
