Cheaper Do It Yourself Boba
So I occasionally get into a boba mood and I'll just crave it. Luckily, they make this DIY version for home. I saw it in the store and tried a few flavors out. Each box is enough for three servings. While the instructions seem simple, I found there are some nuances to the process to get them as close as you can to an actual boba shop. Here's my specific process:1) Pour milk tea powder into coffee cup, add 150ml of boiling water, stir2) Add boba pearls into the cup, then microwave for 60 seconds3) In a separate 20-ounce cup, put in 300g of ice cubes (I use three huge ice cubes)4) Slowly pour the heated coffee cup mixture into the cup with ice cubesThat's it. You can adjust sweetness by adding more sugar, and even milk/heavy cream. The main reason I use boiling water at the beginning versus hot water like the instructions say is that the boiling water won't make the pearls al dente feeling when you suck them up. It needs to be hot enough to soften up fully. Of course, these are my instructions and you are free to try the box instructions first.Overall, this tastes like a shop boba tea at nearly half the price. Recommended.

Best quick boba 🧋
Any other boba my daughter and I have tried have not been comparing to this one. This brand made it super easy and quick for boba to be made. You also get 3 for the price of a single sized normal boba tea. You can’t beat the price! The taste is great too! Texture of the boba is just like you went to the local boba spot. Great job with this product!

Delicious and Easy to Make!
I absolutely love this boba kit! The black tea flavor is rich and pairs perfectly with the chewy tapioca pearls. It’s so easy to make at home, and the quality is just as good as my favorite boba shop. This kit is a must-have for boba lovers who want a convenient and tasty treat. Highly recommend!

Chewy Bits of Brown Sweet Starch, Not Boba
They don’t pop, are not boba. The pack of supposed boba are only chewy tapioca solid starch with brown sugar cane. The tea mix is good only in that it gets more palatable with the 2nd and 3rd taste, but it’d be hard to mess up black tea and powdered milk. Very sweet! Too sweet.

Daughter got sick
I'm not sure why, but my daughter got sick and vomited. We thought it was something else, but when she tried to make another one and took a couple sips, she started vomiting about 25min after! Unfortunately I have to put a star smh!

Pretty good
My daughter said it tastes like the one she always buys from Jack in the box.so I would say this is a good buy good value considering going there and buying 3 would run about $15 and this one you get 3 for $10 👍👍

Tastes great and easy to make
My daughter loves boba tea, so she was really excited to get this kit. We already made some, and it tastes delicious. It only takes a few minutes to make. The kit has enough for three small cups. Keep in mind the cups are the size of a regular coffee mug, not the larger cups you see on the box. The only thing I didn't like is that it included paper straws, but I have some stainless steel straws so we used those instead.

Surprisingly good
I didn't expect much from powdered tea mix, but this came out surprisingly well. Just be aware that you'll need a GIGANTIC glass like a pint glass or something if you want to fit in 300 grams of ice. My very large water glass could only hold about 225 grams of ice and even then I thought the tea was slightly more dilute than my preference. Still, it is a nice cup of milk tea that I didn't need to prepare myself with some boba that I didn't need to cook myself, all able to be prepared in just a couple of minutes. I followed the tip from another reviewer and used freshly boiled water for the hot water and my boba came out soft to the center.
