Swimming Fun
Fun for baby in the pool, but not sturdy enough to support baby fully in the water. An adult should hold on to and monitor baby at all times. It is easy for baby to tip himself forward and put face in water. I feel that the float is still a good value and is fun for baby.

Great, Safe Fun to Splash and Swim with your Baby!
This SwimSchool Fun Fish BabyBoat in Blue by Aqua Leisure is great fun for my 7 month old! She loves getting in it and starts kicking and squealing when she sees it. I read many reviews and was concerned with the quality and capability of the shade screen, but the only issue I ran into was if I left it velcro'd after swimming, the attachment part was slightly stretched for holding it for days by the time we used it again. I fixed this easily by tying a knot in the part that holds it up and it was taut again. Then I just made sure to un-velcro when we were finished. Other than that, this baby boat has added so much freedom and splashing fun for my daughter and I. She is well over 20 pounds and the size of most 18-month-olds on the growth charts, but this supported her in the water without any concern. The mesh seat is super soft and features wide leg holes that will support younger/older and skinny/chunky babies. I love that the shade is UV-protected and I don't have to worry about slathering and re-slathering sunscreen all over her every time we want to go swimming. The protection is real too! I put little toys in the mesh part and she splashes around in the small amount of water that it lets well up. The fin on top doesn't stay up well...haha that is my only complaint. This was well worth the purchase. I would buy this again.

Flimsy, not worth it.
I have several floaties for my one year old son. I was looking for one that was easy to put him in (rather than the foam one we use now, which is a little complicated to get him strapped in). This floatie was a little dirty when I opened it but I didn't care too much. Then the valves for inflation are not safety so they leak air if the cap comes out, which happened too easily. But since I couldn't get it back in the box correctly for a return I decided to try it. It floated fine but the canopy wouldn't stay up and it doesn't come off so it just kind of dragged behind him. Not impressed about anything with this floatie.

Great idea, some flaws in execution. Would recommend some modifications.
My son was 8 months old when we used this floaty and he LOVED it. We used it during a 1-week vacation at the grandparents. He had an absolute blast playing in the water and thought it was pretty great that we didn't have to hold him the entire time. The execution on the sun-shade needs some work. The fabric is a bit loose around the tube, where the rigid wire (that is the front edge of the canopy) connects. The result is that the wire dips below the tube when it's not on a solid surface (such as in the water), and the length of the velcro connector is too long to hold up the shade. We tied a couple knots in it to shorten it, which partially fixed that problem. However, any water splashed onto the shade, or gust of wind and down it goes again, because the Velcro isn't strong enough. For long-term use, I would recommend installing a snap, and shortening the length so it stays up. We left it at the grandparents after 1-week of use, and next year he'll probably be too old for it.

Okay Experience
Purchased this for my 1 year old daughter. As I was inflating the product, air was coming out of the outer ring. It was brand new, and had never been used. There wasn't a problem with the air pocket near the baby seat. As we put it in the water, it did float okay, but the outer ring was sinking, and the shark sun protecter did not stay up, and kept falling.

you really need this, your beach/pool/lake life needs it...
Okay, this product is awesome. Ill explain the 5 stars. Its solid, my baby is 18lbs and he was floating really good. It prob last us a lot more since he was really bouyant. The shade does real well, with lots of wind you will have to diaper pin the velcro, but still not enough to loose a star! The splash zone works well to put little floating toys... The back spalsh zone I used to store the (waterproof) camera, and the other toys i didnt want him paying attention to. Easy to pratice his swim motions with his legs... Inflating it was a piece of cake, and the outer ring is all i deflated to put back in the car. When we were done the fish carried all his toys back to the car (i just folded it and carried all the toys in it). Have used it in pools and beaches more than 5 diff times. Other than the wind/velcro detail, (easily fixed) this baby gear is a must have for hours of safe fun!!! By the way the item is super light, and best of all it stays super cool to touch, other plastic ones get hot, this one worked well over 3-4 hours with 2 kids using it in hot 93 degree caribeean weather!!!

Pleasantly Surprised
This product is going to work out perfectly this summer. My guy is a very fair skin toned baby so I knew that I was going to have to get something that would cover a good portion of his body. Not only is this float going to cover his head, but it will also cover his back as well. Another pleasant surprise is that this float is a blow up bottom, I was very concerned it was going to be a wire. I know that blow up isn't ideal for some, but it is much easier when you want to travel with the product. If you are looking to take this product traveling deflated it folds up very small and should be easy to pack away. The float is slightly on the wide side, but that just gives baby a little more space to float around securely with. The color is perfect. Not only will the visor keep the baby nice and cool, but since the color is a nice blue it should also help in keeping the baby nice and cool. The fabric is nice and sturdy, I trust it to hold a baby or my toddler for that fact.

Great! Lightweight
Great! Lightweight, easy fold up to travel with! I would say depending on your child, the less mobile they are, the more compliant with the device! My 7 month old was content but my friend’s 10 month old mobile daughter did not enjoy being stuck in a fish and kept trying to climb out! 😂😂😂 Both babies are 20-21 pounds!

A float with a hole!?!
Garbage!! Literally. We were so excited for our baby to enjoy this float for the weekend at the cottage. We opened the box, blew it up, and realize that there was a hole in the float so we couldn't even use it. SO disappointed :(

Nice product but not made for a baby
We bought this for our son and planned to use it during our vacation. We thought the shade was a good option. Unfortunately, we couldn't use it because the seat was too deep for our 7 month baby. Also, the opening was way too wide so it didn't offer any support at all and our baby was leaning form side to side. Our friends had a cheap inflatable one which turned out to be way better than ours. I do not recommend for a baby, but it could be ok for a toddler.
