Collapsible Laundry Basket - Space Saving Organizer (Cyan)

I would be lying if I said I wasn't addicted to the whole collapsible craze right now. I just recently got collapsible tupperware and love how it saves space. As does this. This arrived quickly and looks just as the photo. There is one thing about this, not a deal breaker but feel it needed to be shared. It does collapse easily. There is a trick to it. I have attached some photos and I hope I can explain it. In the first photo you can see how it kinda bunches up and does collapse correctly. The second photo shows what you need to do. I put my hand on the inside and push the rubber out. I have that circled. The third photo shows as I am pushing the rubber out from the inside I push the plastic down and it collapses pefectly. This is by no mean a deal breaker for me or enough to loose a star. I love this and it is not to small at all. I believe this is a perfect size and I have 5 boys!

My side door of my house is called the neighbor door - and seriously, most neighbors choose that doorbell to ring and when they do, they come directly into my laundry/mudroom. I feel compelled to make it look nice and keep it clean so I bought two of these collapsible laundry baskets. When not in use, I collapse them easily and place them on the side of my washer, totally out of sight; it helps keep this entry nice and neat and I'm not embarrassed when my neighbors come through that door.

So far this is perfect for our apartment. We needed more baskets and more space. These gave us the former and saved us the latter. I would recommend these to small space dwellers anywhere!Plus, they obviously come in handy for other jobs, like traveling. They hold (light) gifts, junk, and stuff very well.

I love how I can tuck this next to the washer in my tiny laundry closet and save on so much space! My only issue is folding it isn't always the smoothest. However, after using it awhile, it seems to be folding up a bit easier.

A little challenging to close back up at times and smaller than the average basket but overall sturdy and does the job allowing me to store it away when not in use. Full time RVer and this is just the kind of functionality you need in a small space

I gave 4 stars only because it takes twice as much time and effort to collapse the basket as it does to expand it. Not a big deal in the great scheme of things. Cool product that slips into tight spaces.

Update on the basket: It is still super handy, except that folding the darn thing is close to impossible. It doesn’t look like it should, and another similar basket I bought a few weeks later is very easy to fold. I try to get by with that one and not using the first one. So either this one is a lemon, or this brand is. Either way, I am not satisfied.

It is space saving but doesn't collapse easily for me. Maybe it's my age but it is a bit hard to collapse when I'm done using it. I do like it though.
