Cheap tat, bad for use in emergency
I bought this to replace a DBPower DJS50 that's sadly died after giving 5 years of excellent service after I tried to buy another but found Amazon and other UK suppliers no longer sell it. This item was disappointing from the moment I opened the tool case. While this jump starter shares having a black and red plastic case, the DBPower jump starter was solid, giving the impression of being a tool, while this thing looked like a plastic toy. Both have rubber covers over the EC5 jump starter port, but while the DBPower cover is hinged and just easily opens and closes with a finger, with this one you have to try to get a fingernail under the edge to peel it off, it comes right off so is easy to lose, and is hard to get back on again - all very poor features for something to be used in an emergency. And much worse, the EC5 jump starter port is loose and doesn't grip an EC5 plug at all, not even the one on the supplied jump leads (which are very skinny and poor quality); you have to actually hold the plug in contact with one hand to use it, which makes it useless as you have to leave it attached to the battery while you go round to start the car.I am returning this piece of shoddy tat, and have ordered a new UK spec DBPower DJS50 from the DBPower website, which actually works out notably cheaper than this junk despite the international postage.

Poor quality.
I ended up returning this item. The build quality is very poor. Plastic covers do not fit correctly, connectors are loose. Considering it's supposed to be something to rely on in an emergency, I just don't trust it at all. Also, the built in SOS light is blue and red police-style flashing lights. It's weird.
