Put a bit of excitement in your holidays!
Will it stay up or won't it? Hours of fun as you take bets on how long your tree will remain upright!I bought this 4 years ago and this is the first year since then that I ended up with a tree with a sufficiently thin trunk and a long enough "branch-free" zone on the bottom to even fit into this stand (the "bucket" that the tree sits in is 9" deep so you'll need at least that much trunk below the lowest branch on the tree). The plastic pieces that are supposed to hold the tree steady are VERY shaky and seem to assume that your tree's trunk is a perfect circle (good luck with that!). After shoving several shims in various locations around the trunk, I have the tree standing more-or-less upright but just to make sure, I tied a thin cable around the upper trunk of the tree and anchored it to a picture mount that I happen to have sunk into a brick wall next to where the tree stands. In short, this thing's kind of a nightmare. If you have a very small and/or perfectly-formed tree, you might have better luck but my tree (which, by the way, has about a 4-1/2" diameter and is about 6-1/2' tall) is not inspiring confidence in the stability department this year. Hopefully it'll stay upright until after the holidays and I'll be buying something more flexible and stable next year.In spite of what I've just said, if you DO decide to take a chance on this, don't believe the product's claim that this will support trees up to 30" in diameter (which is ridiculous (you'd need a crane just to lift the thing)...perhaps they mean 30" circumference? (although that's still a VERY big tree)) and 10' in height. I'd say that half those numbers (14 or 15" circumference (or about 4-1/2" diameter) and 5 or 6' in height are more realistic.

Nope
This was extremely frustrating to use. You have to prune off too many lower branches to get it to work. Getting the tree straight was a challenge. Even once I got it approximately straight, it was still wobbly.

Easy to use
I ended up returning this only because I was gifted another one by a friend- BUT, it was the exact same one and I will say it was simple to use. It’s my first Xmas doing the tree alone and I was nervous it was just going to be a flop. Worked perfectly and kept my very large tree standing for a few weeks! Taking it apart was easy too!

Works great
This tree stand is awesome. it will hold a tall wide tree easily. Unfortunately, this year I had a small one and was easily able to modify it . if the trunk is too small, I just wrapped a belt around the base of it at the height where the holders bite in. And it worked perfect. Now I can throw away that 70 pound tree stand that I had that hasn’t worked forever. Plus, the grandkids won’t have the tree fall on them when they help me decorate lol.

Easy to use it!
Very easy to use it, you can add water when you want to your Christmas tree too. Love it!

You really have to watch that the tree is cut ...
You really have to watch that the tree is cut perfectly straight on the bottom plus has a perfectly straight trunk. I found it hard to get the tree in the stand and to stand up properly because our tree had a twist in the trunk near the bottom but to far up to cut off.
