OTTERBOX Symmetry Series Case for iPhone 6/6s (4.7" Version) - Retail Packaging - All ADDS UP (Slate Grey/Slate Grey/All ADDS UP)

Second case like this. First one broke after a pretty hard fall - but the phone was perfectly protected. It is nice and slim, so protects without the bulk. Would NOT recommend if you work in a career with high potential for damage- but for a office worker like me, who wants protection from day to day wear and tear and the occasional bump and bang...it is perfect. Otterbox does it again!!

First one came with the phone for free and just the way I liked it: not too bulky but still thick enough for easy hold and protects from scratches (not the screen though). Basically, provides side, back and edge of the screen protection. The one way it could really suck if the screen fell flat on a rock or something...:0 But, since, I do not like wrapping my phones completely, this provided good enough protection while allowing easy enough access to the phone.Even though construction does feel solid, eventually pulling and pressing the rubber edges, will cause them to separate. It took about two years for my first one to completely wear off. I used to take it out of my pocket by pulling on the bottom edge a lot, which separated first but still stayed relatively in place for another year or so. Eventually, after two years, I replaced it with a second cover and am trying not to press as hard or pull on the bottom edge to see if it might last a bit longer intact!I like the brand, construction, quality, price and did buy one more for one of our other phones. The best part,OtterBox had plenty design choices to choose from!

Is this up to the same level of protection as the higher end OtterBox cases? No it is not...it isn't supposed to be. This is a very basic and slim fitting case and it does the basic job of protecting the phone just fine. I have more faith in the Commuter series...but don't enjoy how bulky they are and therefore gave the Symmetry series a shot.

It perfectly suits the iPhone. No issues at all with packaging and delivery. Seems to be durable, but it adds upto the weight of the phone. But still, its a great case and gives good protection.

Had this case for a few months before the rubber pieces started wearing out. It’s now totally detached from the plastic part of the case. So now I have some floppy bits hanging from my case, if I dropped my phone on that end I’m sure it would cause some damage.

Good case and fits iPhone 6s very well, but the plastic is stiff and not rubbery like I had hoped for. It slips out of my hand too easily. None of the pieces are rubbery feeling.

I have always bough the defender series from otterbox for my iphones, but I decided to try a slimmer more attractive case. This case exceeded my expectations. I have dropped it many times from a fairly high distance and no damage and the case remains looking great. It is super easy to put on and take off. The buttons and inputs are easily accessible, unlike the defender series. I will only use these now.

First and foremost, I am an OtterBox fan. This product misses the mark terribly. Fit and finish is terrific as you would expect. Product is slim and has a nice feel. The problem is the molded rubber comes loose form the hard plastic shell. I purchased one of these for my wife's phone after one month of use I liked hers so much I decided to buy myself one. While my case was in transit, my wife's case started failing. I thought it was a fluke and put mine into service right away. Three weeks in and my case started failing as well. This is an obvious product defect.Otter has already replaced my wife's, I am currently waiting on my replacement. Had to pay $6.99 shipping charge for each. Been using Otter products for years. These will likely be my last.
