Flyzone Micro Fokker DR1 WWI RTF RC Airplane

I've had two of these and both had major issues out of the box. The first was so tail heavy I had to crank in about ten degrees of down ele to get it to fly and the second came with a dud engine that wouldn't create enough thrust to fly. I swapped the motor from the first into the second and all is well. More hassle and expense than its worth.

I bought this product after flying the flyzone albatros. It is a great little plane it is probably the best slow flyer I have ever tried. the fusalage is very realistic to. I would however recomend that you only flyit on dead calm days because it tends to get knocked around alot in the wind.. I could easily fly this plane in your average gynasium it is that manuverable. If you are buying it for a child I would recomend some adult supervision. all in all It is a great little plane and I am glad I added it to my colection.

Do not buy this plane..the motor sticks an will not run. There are no alarons, its a 4 ch. Transmiter but no alarons. The control wires are very flimsy an come off.

Timely arrival. Attractive. Replacement parts and spare batteries rather difficult to locate and identify. Fragile. Difficult to fly. Definitely not for the novice or the young. You will need spare parts!

I bought this as a birthday present for my brother-in-law who was a Lufthansa pilot. Am in the process of returning it, as the batteries that came with it were so old they had corroded and leaked in the box.

This is a beutifuly flying plane. It is a great begginer plane that is only a step away from a 4 ch. it flys smoothly and can be mastered in the second flight. It flys slow enough to leave a margin of error. It can't do too many tricks however, but it can do loops, nose dives, high over banked turns, and gliding. I love this plane!

For $85 its pretty sick. At a few ounces its like a paper plane with micro engine. Flew it yesterday at kids school in 2-5 mph wind which was like Sportster's in 20-30. Handled amazing though. Ultra tight full elevator loops in literally less than 3 foot diameters. Looped 3 times in row. Half or no throttle wen wind was dead is incredible how it can be glided with finesse. Will be most fun indoor n gonna do that next in kids gym after school. Soft 3 point landing on packed dirt, with a fast paced walk. BTW they claim 1st time flyers can use this thing. Very very untrue. Good time little guy right here tho man.
