The clock switches off & switches on only when you Make a sound
Well what if I want it to be ON at all times?!The night light is also too dim and little. Also you have only two options of 30 & 60 mins to have the night lamp on. I returned the item. Didn't work for me! I must say the design and the feel of the clock is a 5 star.
