Worked fantastic ! Heavy wet snow, even slush !
It was relatively easy to install, was a little concerned about installation, I am not the most gifted when it comes to doing installs, but it went really well. I positioned the rubber pads so they were touching the housing, figuring they would where down enough to fit really well. Come to discover the housing wasn't perfectively round, it was more oblong. It is a old craftsman. So it turns out one of the blades would be really close to the housing and the other two would be about 1/2 in a way from the housing. But the heavy rubber paddles would compensate for the difference. Now I know why I had such a problem with the snow getting stuck, very easily before install impellers. The slush I had cleared would of easily gummed up the housing before, but now did not have any problems with heavy wet snow and slush. I would highly recommend it.

My snow blower is a monster with these.
I had a three blade snow blower, put these on and the snow blower now blows wet snow 15-20' easy, no more clogs at all.

Snow thrower
After installing this kit, Wow! I have a snow chucker now! I knew this would make a difference but I was beyond blown away, or more like the snow! I had some heavy wet stuff I tested this out on. It really keeps the chute clean. Usually it will make a ice core that starts coming out. I think it launched that wet stuff well over 35 ft. That is a big change. What an improvement! Well worth the money!

Good quality
Parts are good quality. Be careful where you drill the holes for this in your snowblower. If there is a support on the other side of impeller (as there often is) you will need to leave enough room for the nuts.

All Snowblower owners DO THIS NOW!
The media could not be loaded. Easy to put on it double the power of my snow blower it let me go through stuff that I wouldn't ordinarily be able to get through at all as well as throwing it farther. I don't know if it's a job for someone who doesn't know much about tools as you will need to drill holes in Steel, but it's pretty easy if you're fairly skilled and it's awesome Kick-Ass. It's like a different blower it's like night and day 100...TOOOTALLY DIF MACHINE!!!!.. Trust and Believe

Not universal
I like the design but bit too small

Not Universal
I tried to install on my Ariens 28" Deluxe blower and ran in to a few problems that made these useless to me. First, the impeller blades are not flat so a had to start off with cutting about 40% of the rubber and steel plates off to fit. Second, in order to mount the rubber correctly the holes that needed to be drilled in the impeller blades ran into supports, and bends making it impossible to mount properly. 2 Stars because this isn't the fault of the product really, so check you snowblower first because this is not a "universal" product.

kit works good. forget the "self tapping" screws for pilot holes. use a step bit
Summary: good value, easy install once holes are in, bad/wrong size self tapping screws. use a step bit instead and save a headache.GOOD: the kit overall is a good value and fit. be sure to have something to cut the rubber pieces(I used a multitool with rubber in a vise all in one pass, worked great) and to cut the metal pieces(used a hacksaw in a vise also made short work of it) to size. It's easy enough to get the right fit and once installed is a noticeable improvement.BAD: the 3 self tapping screws easily round out before drilling the first hole in my MTD machine that uses steel impellers, and I needed to drill 6 holes, a lot of blowers need all 9. And the bigger problem is the self tapping screws are a smaller size than the machine bolts, so even if you fight and get one through, the bolts wont fit through the pilot hole. Save a lot of time and frustration and just use a good step bit instead.
