Mangar Archimedes Bath Lift

It’s great. So easy to use.I’m 77.9 years young but until this chair arrived had to give up soaking.Now I just sit on,pull my legs over lower down and enjoy, when done it lefts me up.The chair is not so heavy I had no problem getting it in tub yet it is very well made.Update if you have Arthritis this chair is a must, soaking with Epison salt helps something couldn’t do with out this chair.I do keep it charging when not using as instructions said.

I’m a bilateral above knee amputee and I was looking for a way to take baths. This product seemed intriguing, allowing me to have the ability to go for my wheelchair into the bathtub. It doesn’t work! It’s too flimsy made out of an inexpensive plastic that allows you to slide out of the seat. I had to call 911 to get me out of the bathtub. What an embarrassment. Save yourself the hassle don’t buy this product.!

Although, I’m not completely immobile, my bad knees were beginning to make it almost impossible to enjoy my nightly baths. Showers are fine on the fly but I need my bath-tine! Anyway, my Dr suggested a “shower chair” but I decided to look for something more suited to my wants/needs. After reading reviews on this and other products of this type, I decided to take a chance with Mangar! I”ll admit I was nervous at first , a bit intimidated about having to disassemble the product before using. But it was quite simply and the individual parts are light weight enough that I have no problems disassembling and reassembling the product all by myself! It’s comfortable, Eases you in and out of your tube safely. Best investment of 2019 for me!

Sturdy and safe. Sat in it after figuring out a way to secure it in my whirlpool tub. Tub finish presented an issue b/c of non-slip dimples which prevented suction cups from holding chair in place. Overcame this by applying waterproof glue to underside of furniture moving pads. Works great and smooth top of pads look great in white tub.

The bath lift chair is a niracle, but the included accessories are suspect.The battery charger required two with the same fault: the charger centercontact pin worked loose and fell out.The center pin cannot be re-solderedin place. Thankj goodness the chair itself is holding up.
