Great for night time!
I have twins. One has been dry at night for the past year, the other though has no issues during the day but soaks the bed at night. I've tried waking him and changing diapers/pull ups but still, he would wake crying his bed was wet and jammies soaked. Because of the price I only got 2 pairs. I figured I could wash one while the other was in use. The one that needed them is very sensitive and hated they were puffy and made him look funny. We didn't have jammie issues being too tight since their jammies are all to big to start with.My boy was adamant he wouldn't wear them again because his brother made fun of his bulky pants. I turned it around and told his brother that they were "pillow pants" and gave his bottom extra cushion and cuddles all night. (My twins are 4 yrs) Then the non-bedwetter wanted pillow pants too. Now they both wear them just so their bottoms can have pillows. I still have to wash one pair every day. Thankfully it's super hot in N. CA right now so I put them in the dryer once inside out and then hang in the 100+ degree garage and they are dry at bedtime. I didn't give a full 5 stars because it does take some persuading to get toddlers to wear them because they REALLY are bulky looking. However very soft. The other reason because of the drying time. Being so absorbent I'm not sure they are more cost effective than disposables because I run the dryer up to 3 times with just these pants in there. Not helping my PG&E bill any.As far as their intended use of keeping your child dry all night, pretty darn close to 5 stars. Occasionally around the waist if I don't make sure the absorbent part is all the way curled in, the waistband of my son's jammies may be damp in the morning. Still, 100x better than disposables for keeping your child's bed dry!

I'm converted.update
I have always used disposables with my kids. I was curious about cloth but never made the leap.My 3 year old son is potty trained- except for Bedwetting. So for months I've been buying Good Nights, but reading up on the issue (and digging into my own memories as a kid) made me realize that this Bedwetting might go on for years. And he pees a lot. And telling him he can't even drink water before bed feels wrong to me.I was going to get Super Undies but a lot of the reviews for them said to get these instead. So I have. They don't leak. They don't feel soaked like disposables do (nor stink) after use. My son LOVES how SOFT they are. I don't have to worry about him putting them on backwards cuz it's the same absorbency either way. Sure they are bulky and a boring color. But I'm 2 months they will become cheaper than disposables. I do laundry daily and alternate between the two. My only concern is that they might be too hot for my son during the summer because that's a lot of fabric!I love them so much I'm converted and I'm deciding to start cloth diapering my 7 month old daughter part time as well. These are amazing.Update after 1 month of use: the pull up shrunk up quite a bit, but not the extra layer, which has made it difficult for my son to use without help. Perhaps they aren't meant to be dried in the dryer, but they take forever to dry. I only bought two, they have not yet earned back their value in disposables. I have wait another month for that, but because these take so long to dry, I really need at least one more. I'm gonna try super undies. I like these but they are not helping quite the way I expected. So I doc one start

Glory, glory, hallelujah
For various developmental reasons, my daughter didn't potty train until she was almost 4 y/o. She will be 5y/o in August and we haven't mastered nighttime yet, and I was getting really tired of buying the Tru Fit refill pads every couple of weeks. Most mornings, her PJs would be wet; frustrating, since we had naively hoped that the Tru Fits would contain what regular PM pull-ups couldn't. I was losing my mind. I finally bought a pair of these pants because they got such rave reviews, and I'm here to tell y'all that I've since purchased 3 more pairs to cover our needs for every night of the week. THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY.Not only do they keep in every drop of pee, but this past weekend, she had a stomach bug and they contained the nastiest blowouts I've seen from this child since her formula days. While cleaning it up was no fun for me, at least I only had to clean the undies; her clothes and bedding were still clean!I was concerned about the fluff factor and worried about compression leaks. Even though answers from other reviewers advised sizing up her PJ pants because of the bulk, I tried them out with her regular jammies and didn't have any issues with the fit (or with leaks). She does have a michelin-esque poof around her booty and midsection, but her PJs still fit comfortably. Also, even though they're bulky, they're not *heavy* like I thought they'd be. They're super soft and pretty airy. They do take a long time to dry, as other reviewers have mentioned. So if it helps anyone, here's the order of my laundry routine (for our family, I'm usually doing laundry twice a week - yaaaaay):1. First load is always our cloth diapers (speed wash, then normal heavy duty wash); one cycle tumble-dry on low. Turn them completely inside-out to maximize drying efficiency.2. While the diapers are in the dryer, lights go in the wash. I leave these pants in the dryer after removing all other cloth, then I'll run them through again with the whites (also on low).3. Towels are being washed while lights are being dried. If these pants are still damp, I'll run them through again with our towels (medium heat). By this point, they're usually dry. And I haven't wasted any electricity running extra dry cycles for just a couple pairs of training pants. If you're on the fence because of the price, I'd encourage you to try one pair and see for yourself. Every kid is different. Mine is a super wetter at night. For the first time in years, she is waking up EVERY morning in dry PJs. They're not even a little bit damp. I can't wait for her little sister to be big enough to fit into the XS.Edited to add: my girl is about 3'3" and 45lbs. These are true to size for us.
