Kyosho Z8006 Zeal Vibration Absorption Sheet

This has held my camera on top of my plane for over a year in all kinds of weather. You wouldn't think it by looking at it. But it's free of vibrations and in case of a crash would just pop off and do less damage than if mounted otherwise. It doesn't look secure but it is very solid. This is the second plane I've mounted a camera on like this and I've never had any problems. You want one large piece or stacked pieces instead of smaller pieces. Larger pieces absorb shock and vibrations better. I use the adhesive that comes on it. I've never had to add adhesive. However, it can peel off. But the gel it's self is quite sticky and works as well.

Great for vibration absorption when used to dampen multirotor flight control boards. I use mine with ~25% compression and its performance is fantastic.A single star has been removed due to its high cost compared to the amount received.Note: While no fault of this product I will say that the same levels of vibration absorption can be achieved with simple ear plugs (WHEN COMPRESSED APPROPRIATELY!!!!!) . My clients however not wanting / believing the benefits of a cheaper / lackluster alternative requested the use of this product instead.

I honestly didn't believe this stuff could be as good as what I read on forums and other places.After trying other methods, I bought this to mount my 2.6 APM flight controller on a hex. The GPS hold modes weren't very reliable so I figured remounting it would help after having this suggested. It wasn't the main cause of my GPS problems, but it still improved its performance even before I determined the real problem. This stuff is truly worth the money. I've had to eat my words on this one.

Arrived in the time frame stated by Amazon well packaged. This stuff lives up to it's name & reputation. Very tacky on both sides & can be cut to customs sizes. I've used this before on heli gyros & have had excellent results. This stuff seems to be hard to come by, I've tried all of my other suppliers & it wasn't in stock. Did a search on Amazon, found it & purchased it. I will definitely be purchasing more because I have many uses for this in my hobby. Very good way of isolating vibrations from sensitive sensors/equipment especially in the heli/multirotor hobby.

The adhesive layer peels off easily so I used servo tape after removing it. The real issue for my application is that enough vibrations (on a really smooth X8 with Sunnysky V series motors) got through to cause the copter to overreact badly and fly like a drunken bumble bee. I went back to using FrostKing Rubber Foam Weatherseal and it immediately smoothed out. Since then, I discovered you can get the elusive original Pixhawk foam directly from mRobotics.io.

Works well but way overpriced. If you have time to wait for shipping Hobbyking has pretty much the same thing for 1/10th the price and its black so it looks great.

Using this on my quads, have it on a multiwii and the vibrations getting to the controller are almost eliminated! I use this on my Naza V2 with GPS. I mounted the FC, PMU, and receiver to a piece of acrylic with the sticky tabs and then the acrylic to the frame with two pieces of this stuff and it works great!!!

I had this recommended to me for my APM controller and it actually made the vibrations worse? Crazy, I know. I have found that using double sticky tape was far superior than using this gel pad. However, I am using it for a completely different purpose, so it's not a complete loss for me. I am using it as a crash impact absorbent for the other electronics on my quadcopter. It is nice and squishy for that purpose but it does not dampen the vibrations on a micro APM controller, maybe the micro doesn't have enough inertial value for this to dampen and instead seems to amplify the vibrations by approximately 2X.

It worked exactly as advertised and as per reviews. I used it between my motorcycle mirrors and fairings to quiet down the vibrations. I would estimate that there was at least a 70% improvement. However, it does squash/flatten down significantly so it may not be suitable for bigger jobs or surface areas. But then again you could "double up" on it but that would get expensive as this stuff isn't cheap.

Great vibration absorbing material. For mounting Flight Controllers or cameras on Quadcopters. Works Great and is the original product from Japan. Was Shipped very fast.

I love this stuff, it really keeps its stick well.
