Nice if you want cadence only but better go with gps one
Good for the price .has the app for strava link .but if you afford go for the gps one which would be complete one as this has only cadence

Awesome bike computer
Easy to set up speed sensor, and pair with device. The readout can be better on the device. Value for money.

Poor experience (revised)
Revision:2021-06-07I decided to update my review after a bit of time with the device. I gave the device at 2.5, overall. It's not quite the read to me yet, because there are a few things that it doesn't do as well as I expected.I think the device per se, the computer that is, works as advertised. When you start a workout, it's a manual process to get it recording, but when it records it does the work correctly. However, the app does not work well. For no reason at all, it will not be able to connect to the device. I constantly have to remove and reinstall the device on my phone. Otherwise, it refuses to connect. And even sometimes it doesn't connect no matter how often I remove and add the device. I end up having to reboot my phone for the computer to be recognized and for it to work. That is a very poor experience because the whole point of my getting the device was to be able to store the data on my phone, and eventually convert it to an Excel spreadsheet to analyze the data. As it stands, I need to manually enter the information, which is no better than the device I had before.I think the feature that sets this apart from others is the sensor, which allows me to maintain the same cadence as I'm writing. That said, I recommend keeping some of those small zip ties close at hand. After a few weeks, the ones I received with the package broke and I had to replace them. So make sure you take a look at everything before you get on the road.I want to note that the folks at MEILAN did reach out to me and provide some information to try to make the situation better. I applaud them for that.---------------I was looking forward to receiving this and trying it out because my old one broke a couple of weeks ago.Unfortunately, this has been a complete disappointment. As many have said, the instructions to install are very poorly written. Clearly, the people who translated use a poor translation engine and have no grasp of English. It's unfortunate, but I guess that's what happens when people don't invest in the proper writers. I should know, I'm a writer, and there's no way I would let something like this go to market.Anyway…I managed to get it installed by following a couple of YouTube videos. I'm pretty sure that my installation is well done, as the picture shows. If this is not the case, let me know what's wrong, and I will try to fix it. Although this is not tech support, I'm hoping that somebody from the company pays attention to these poor reviews.Once I installed everything, I tried to set up the computer, but that proved to be a bit difficult, so instead, I downloaded the app to do it with the app. What a disaster!I am somewhat upset that to use the app, I had to register, but fortunately, I have an address for that, which I don't use for anything else. However, when I tried to pair the device with a phone, the first thing it tried to do was to upgrade the firmware on the device. Unfortunately, the update percentage always remained at zero and failed. I'm assuming that there must be a way to fix this, but I did not find it.My next step is to try to do a firmware update using the cable that was supplied with the device. At any rate, I decided to skip the upgrade because it always failed and to work with the firmware that was already on the device.I noticed that the phone did update the computer to the correct date, and I set the correct size for the wheels. But when I try to use the computer, it says that it cannot find the sensor. I'm not sure if the problem is the sensor or the computer.I tried to install the sensor on the app, and I managed to do it once. But because I couldn't get the M4 to recognize the sensor, I removed it from the app and tried to add it again. After that, the app no longer recognized the sensor, and the computer constantly flashes as if I have no sensor.Since the app managed to recognize the sensor at least once, I know the sensor can work. But so far, it is not picked up and detected by the computer, and the app no longer recognizes it anymore.(Note: After testing again, I managed to pair the sensor again, and the computer recognized it. but then it disappeared again. The computer says that it cannot pair with it)I've spent more than 2 hours trying to get this thing to work, and I am very disappointed. At this point, I'm close to returning the whole thing and just buying a cheap odometer that has no advanced capabilities. If anyone has any ideas to suggest before I return it, let me know, because I would like to use this computer with my bike.

I was riding in Sothe Korea insted of in Montreal Canada
There is something wrong with the Meilan Blade M4. Today I was riding in Montreal Canada, but after transferring the today's data to IPhone 12, the result I've got was some kind of map from South Korea and it looks like I was riding from Yangcheon, along some kind of river, crossed the river and ended up in Deogeun-dong. Complete garbage. Is your software hacked? Possibly, yes. I hope you answer and fix the problem fast, because if not, I will return your Meilan Blade M4 very soon. I did not give any stars because of the issue I described. (I had to give you 1 stare, but actually it is 0 stars).Update.I decided to reset the Meilan Blade M4 and the sensors (speed, cadence, and heart rate) and I deleted and reinstalled the iPhone application. Yesterday all was working well so, to be fair, I am putting on hold my negative comments about the Meilan Blade M4. I will see how the product will work for. I have until Sept. 24 to return. If the Blade works and behave acceptably, I will not return it. For now, I change the number of stars to 2 and if all will be OK I will farther increase the number of stars accordingly. This is all for now.Update.OK, I did not return the Blade M4. I think something went wrong with the installation of the app for iPhone. It works ok now and for what I need.

Using the Meilan
Perhaps it is just me, -finger trouble!, but when riding, I find I am not able to switch functions. Also, I find the instructions a little confusing for setting the computer up. I think once it is all set up, it will be a great computer. It does have a lot of features, some of which I am not using, and not sure if I am able to use them as I have no smart phone, -only a phone that is a step up from Maxwell Smart shoe phone! Ok, not quite that antiquated. But I would sure like to be able to use more of the functions if at all possible. One function I know I can't use right now is the power option as I have no device on my bike for that. All in all, a good computer.

A few bumps caused the handlebar mount to break!
Suddenly, riding along a residential road, hitting a few minor bumps in the road, the holder for the computer screen snapped, as if someone had struck it from above. Now it appears I am unable to return it!?
