The cutting area on my 09 silverado 1500 ls does not look like that it has no grove or screw hole and it slightly angles down what do i do?

That is very odd. I’m not sure why your air box would be any different.

Will this fit a 2012 Sierra GMC ?

It fit my 2013 Silverado. Have to cut out the access, tedious job.

Does this fitted with the screw?

I installed this on a 2008 Silverado that didn't have a cabin filter. You have to cut out the opening which was a super PIA. After that, it slid up in and the screw held it in place. Good luck!

Is the filter flexible? The Dorman filter breaks up when installed

Somewhat flexible. Can’t fold it in half. I have to tweak it a little to install in my Silverado. It has V notches in it.
