Kings Brand 2-Tier Bookcase, Bookshelf, White Storage Shelf Organizer

Very easy to assemble. I bought a bunch of these units, put them together and mounted them around the top of my garage walls. They are compressed wood, with a white laminate, but seem to be pretty solid after assembly. Personally, I think they are a heck of a deal. I paid $29 each and that included the shipping to my house. I mean how can they manufacture these units, box them up and ship for $29 and make a profit is beyond me. I would not recommend them for holding real heavy stuff, but for my needs, they worked out perfect.

If you are looking for something inexpensive and functional they are great. If you are looking for high quality display pieces you'll need to spend more. They are easy to install and sturdy. They look good and fit easily under my Ikea desk. I have a small room and need things that help me utilize what space I have. Very pleased with the results.

This worked well for adding extra shelving space, especially in my closet where I needed simple organization. I purchased two of these units. The first one took a little time to assemble, but once I understood how it went together, the second one was much quicker. Overall, assembly is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. The unit itself is not extremely heavy duty, but it works well for lighter storage needs. One of the units had a small damaged corner on a shelf, but it was not significant and I was able to place it where it is not visible. What I like: Adds useful storage space Easier to assemble after the first unit Simple and clean design Works well for light organization needs Things to be aware of: Not made for heavy loads Particle board requires careful handling during assembly May have minor imperfections Overall: This is a good option if you need basic shelving for lighter items. It is not the most sturdy, but it does the job if you use it within its limits. I would buy it again with those expectations in mind.

I was so hesitant to purchase this bookcase just because I haven't had much luck with others from Amazon but was I ever surprised by this one! Cost hardly anything, relatively speaking, and provides a great, solid place to store my stained glass materials in my workshop. It was so easy to put together and so solid when I was finished. I know I will have this piece for a long time. Well-made, very useful and attractive. GREAT job to the manufacturer!!

Super simple to assemble. I bought 4. The first took me about 45 minutes to assemble with reading instructions and finding my screwdriver, but each one thereafter took maybe 15-20 minutes tops. The instructions advise that 2 adults should assemble the unit, however, I put all 4 together myself. They fit beautifully in my closet and look way pricier than they were. Great value. Love these. Want more!

Really easy to assemble. Just make sure you put the back in before adding the last piece.

I have put together many of these inexpensive shelves and this is by far the best one I’ve ever had. The backing that slides into the grooves is well designed. Very sturdy and definitely better than the ones that you have to nail, highly recommend!

Prepare for it to arrive damaged (i.e. a corner dented, the cheap white cover peeling in some places, etc.). If you sort of accept that that’s what you’re going to get then it’s an alright item. It gets the job done as a bookshelf even if it is cheap quality: not solid wood but the pulpy stuff covered with a thin white layer. It’s not tall enough to hold full size notebooks, folders or binders standing upright, but fine for anything under 11”. It was easy to assemble, you just need a screwdriver. It has a faint-ish processed wood/chemical smell but it fades. So not great but not falling apart or completely horrible. 3/5.
