Does it have 2 blades?

Yes, two blades. It works well, as good as the wired Dewalt I had for many years. I much prefer the cordless tool from Ryobi.

Can you use blade in reverse?

No. Although the blades are "reversible" that only means that both sides are sharp and once the side you are using is dull you can replace it by turning the blade around to the 2nd sharp side. Great, powerful product!

This worked better than I expected. I got it to level off a stump for an anvil and it easily ate through the oak stump and gave me a level surface to mount the anvil on. I have used it several other times since then but just for the stump work, it was worth it!
