Over the years, I have purchased these mattress covers in twin, full, and queen. I cannot stand the thought of sheets on bare mattress. I like these so much that I even give as gifts when I give a new set of sheets. These mattress covers are durable and stand up to multiple washes and dryer uses. I have white bedding and sometimes use bleach and these have held up very well. They are thin with a plastic like coating on the back and a terry cloth like top. They do not crinkle or make noise. They are not fluffy and thick, so won't provide extra softness. I have spilt coffee, my dog has thrown up, and whatever other spills probably have happened..and my mattress was protected. My mattress is about 18" with the topper and these fit fine. Also, I have these to use on my guest bed and that mattress is thinner and these are perfect. I bought two of these for my bed to alternate when I change bedding and they have lasted for 4 years with frequent and regular washing. Guest room, I have two. The last thing...the price...depending on sales/sizes....anywhere from $15-30 depending on when/which I purchased. I probably have bought 10-12 if these over the last 6-7 years. Will repurchase. These are easy to put on, they don't tear, they do not smell like plastic, and they don't make you feel sweaty, they look nice, and they keep your mattress looking new.

I think these work good. Only got a little wet one of these and nothing on the mattress so not sure yet how waterproof they are. Washed them and they came out with no issues. The underside does tend to stick to itself a bit tho, we put sheets over it anyways so can't tell. Love that it covers the sides too since other's don't. Has very deep pockets so it covers our 12" mattress and our 3" topper with some room to spare so love that.

We’ve been using this for several months now, & I am very pleased with my purchase. We have an older cat who has issues with incontinence & had ruined a mattress or two. She has some big “accidents” & has wet the beds on numerous occasions. Not only were the other “waterproof” covers letting the urine seep through, but we couldn’t quite get that smell out of them either no matter what laundry soap, water temperature, or washer cycle we were using. This mattress protector has been a life (and mattress) saver. We have accidentally left the cat inside on several occasions while we were gone all day, so her “accident” was there all day. When we got home the first time to see that the liquid has spread out all over the sheet, we just knew that mattress was ruined too. But it wasn’t! This mattress cover pulled through & stopped any leakage. The top layer, which is very soft, absorbed what liquid wasn’t absorbed by the sheets & the bottom layer, which does not make a crinkling sound at all, kept the liquid from touching the mattress at all! It fits our very deep mattress snugly but doesn’t pull so hard that it might tear or anything like that. I can fit it from my fingertips to over halfway up my arm. I wash it on warm & hang dry it inside-out for a little while until all the water drips off the bottom layer. Then I throw it in the dryer on gentle/low heat for a bit & it’s ready to go. I recommend this, b/c I believe I recall reading some reviews about mishaps in the dryer. It doesn’t take long at all though to dry this way. And it doesn’t hold the odor.

Obviously not extremely comfortable but good for a temporary solution. Not thick at all but what can you expect for the price? I got a twin size and it fits just right. Very easy to use right out of the box. Easy to clean and not stain resistant.

This item is just what we needed to protect an expensive mattress. Can't even feel the plastic protection because it's enclosed in soft terry cloth. Very pleased with product and company, will be ordering from them again. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I bought two twin size mattresses for my daughter’s bunk beds. They’re perfect. My youngest is 2 and my oldest is 6. I myself even found the mattress to be comfortable , I’m around 200 pounds. I will say it’s perfect for a child but for an adult you may want to go thicker. My oldest sometimes has accidents at night, & my 2 year old is in the process of beginning potty training. Of course I bought mattress protectors as well. It was important for me to find a mattress that wouldn’t get ruined easy, affordable, and comfortable, and most importantly safe for my babies. I couldn’t have picked better mattress.

TPU is thermoplastic polyurethane and refered to as the bridge between rubbers and plastic. It appears rubber like which means it can be extremely flexible, durable and smooth to the touch. This is the layer that sits underneath on the mattress. The top is very soft and feels great. So far it seems to be quiet with no sound. I did not understand what TPU was until after this arrived and I was disappointed to see the bottom layer looked and felt like vynal. I looked for the tag and it doesn't give matterial nor does packaging. They do tell you on the description that it uses TPU. But if you don't look up the meaning it reads as if there is no plastic or vynal like material. Although I was disappointed when I saw it .. I have been suprised with it being quiet and soft. I am confident it is water proof and will do the job. And I am happy to say so far I am glad we purchased it. It has suprised me. I will update if noise becomes a problem. Or if it starts to feel like sleeping on plastic. Update.... I can say with confidence that it is water proof... Did an amazing job!

Exactly what I expected and wanted. They fit perfectly and appear durable. We have an 11 inch mattress and there was still lots of room for the corners to stretch to fit a thicker mattress. The one side is soft and the underside has a plastic material that will prevent spills from damaging the mattress. For the price, I’d highly recommend this cover.
