This is all in one and most likely the BEST solution to connectivity of 2016 Macbook Pro. You can forget about bringing all the dongles. You just need to bring this slick designed hub. Although I have still a couple of things to test, the hub does its job superbly so far. I have tested all of the following on my new 15 inch 2016 Macbook Pro with touch bar.First good part is pass through battery charging. It does its job even when I plug in several different things on the hub. (e.g. charging iPhone 6 and iPad Air at the same time while charging the macbook pro too) Second, and probably the most important feature is the connection. I have no trouble using any of the feature it provides. All three USB ports are working as it is Apple's dongle, my monitor works just fine with the HDMI connection, SD and micro SD cards from my old collection of songs and DSLR camera works, and of course the USB-C port works as well even for charging (as mentioned above). Third and what separates this product from others is stable access to multiple devices. I have tried connecting all three usb ports while connected to my 23" ASUS monitor through HDMI port and it worked just fine. I still have to test for bigger/higher resolution monitors though. Fourth and my favorite feature is its design. The color and design just blends in with my SPACE GRAY macbook pro which is even better than the dongles Apple sells for their own products! Another good thing about the design is that the hub has this short additional cable to be connected with your notebook. It gives you stable connection, better connectivity because you can use all three sides of the hub, and also better ergonomics because you can just treat it as a part of the charging cable.I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a solution to connectivity issue with the new Macbook Pro or perhaps any other USB-C laptops like 12" macbook. I have been using it so many times, plugged/unplugged numerous different things - projector, monitor, external HDD/SSD, scanner, printer, USB thumb drive, sd memory card, cameras, smartwatches, smartphones, and etc. It never had issue with compatibility and charging efficiency. The cable is sturdy enough to withstand my hard use and various environments - hot/cold/damp/dry etc. This is an amazing product that the quality maintains for a long time and repeated usage. This is an update of a prior review. It's very rare that I'll take the time to do this, but here goes. I originally bought this almost a year ago, and it worked great for a number of months. The USB ports eventually became finicky and stopped working with some devices. After posting a review, the company did reach out, but after a number of bad experiences with third-party accessory sellers, I didn't bother following up and just stuck with the product and kept my fingers crossed when I needed to use USB.Fast forward to now, and the founder personally reached out to me and made a tremendous effort to resolve this for me. I now have a hub that works well with all the devices I use with it (including the ones that didn't work on the other). If this changes in the coming months, I will be sure to update my review, but for now, it works great. The vast majority of the reviews on here indicate that this product works well, and being an avid purchaser of tech products, I realize that it's always a possibility to get a 1 in 10,000 faulty product- you buy enough products and this happens to you a bunch. I'm chalking my initial issue up to that. Additionally, the personal contact from the founder really stood out to me. As I said, I've bought a lot of tech products, and this is the only time someone outside customer support had really made an effort to reach out to me about an issue. That level of care stands out and honestly encourages me to keep CharJenPro in mind when looking for current or future tech accessories.The design is as you see in the pictures. The color matches the Space Gray Macbook Pros perfectly, and it's a very lightweight devices. The variety of ports is really useful, especially USB A and HDMI in the same device, and it will come in handy when I venture more into the photography world.Overall, I'd highly recommend this product. You can be sure that it'll be made with high design standards and that those leading CharJenPro actually care about their customers. In an online marketplace full of terrible USB C hubs, this is probably one of your best bets.

I love my MacBook (Early 2016), and I don't feel as strongly about the single USB-C port as some do, but I'm also not entirely crazy about it. For quite a while, I stuck with an Apple HDMI adapter for my USB needs, but between a laptop cooling pad and storage, it just wasn't cutting it. Generally, I like to stick with tech brands that I know (whether it be Apple or Anker for example), and I really went back and forth about buying a Satechi USB-C hub (which seems to be the one that comes up again and again) or OWC's much-hyped dock. After doing a decent amount of research, I finally settled on the CharJenPro, based completely on the reviews and against my habit of sticking with what I know.Having used the hub for a good two months now, I'm happy to say that it fills my needs. Aesthetically, I'm not entirely crazy about the hub, specifically because of the logo and because of the design where the USB-C cord has an awkward length, so the hub is kind of sitting off to the side and thus ruins the form factor of the entire computer. Having said that, functionally, the hub does everything I need it to, which is to provide power to the computer and the cooling pad, and access to my external drives. I had a little trouble syncing my iPhones and iPods at first, but fiddling with iTunes and the devices themselves sorted that out. It gets a little warm, which is a little worrisome, but not so much that I have to worry about keeping the hub plugged in all day.I have not used other USB-C hubs, but I will say that I also don't feel the need to purchase another one, because this one does what I need it to and for the right price.

Ordered a cheaper usb-c hub from another manufacturer for my Surface Book 2 but did not work effectively with intermittent connection issues and very limited range. This is worth the extra outlay due to seemless operation and build quality. Peripherals plugged into this work exactly as they should when plugged directly to my SB2. Able to operate wireless devices from opposite end of the house. Highly recommended for any surface product. Only slight issue is that my 19 year old daughter can hear a very slight high pitch noise coming from unit (presume coil noise). I’m 50 year old man and can only hear it if I place my ear directly against the unit. My advice is to buy it and try it and if you can hear coil noise and it’s unbearable simply return the hub.

Arrivo puntuale. Imballaggio buono. L'oggetto è pratico e anche abbastanza elegante, fa la sua figura e svolge bene il suo lavoro. No ho ancora constatato delle pecche.Però: il pelo c'è. C'è un gratta e vinci contenuto nella confezione ma quando si va nel sito dell'azienda pare sia impossibile riscattare la vincita in Italia... :-(

I purchased this for my Macbook Pro 15" 2017 model as recommended by a youtuber review. It's a bit pricey but well worth the money. Build quality is great and works like a charm even when all ports are being used simultaneously. You get what you pay for and this one is worth every penny!
