FINALLY a super nice piece of luggage!
As a twice annual cruiser, I don't actually feel like luggage is something I really need often. However, just one time through the airport dragging a half extended handle (Delsey Paris in Cobalt) on a carryon bag that must be extended to roll the backpack or tote, or a stuck wheel on a medium checked bag (Samsonite Ziplite 3.0)...both of which happened on the FIRST use... and it is all of a sudden WORTH it to INVEST in long term luggage! For the last 10 years, it seems like I have had to purchase at least one new bag every trip. So, ENOUGH.Even when you find a bag you like, the replacement (Delsey Helium Titanium was great), isn't always identical several years later. I also loved my HEYS carryon but my DH hated the pink color. I don't know why he insisted on carrying it for me? But, not only was it pink (not a problem for me), but it also was non-expanding. So THAT was on my check off list for ALL new luggage going forward. Also, it was too large to meet the current AA carryon limit of size because the wheels added 2inches... fine for Southwest, but we are of that age where travel is now requiring the expense of larger seats. Or drive to port.FOUR wheels.HARDSIDE with polycarbonate (not ABS or a mix)Decent attractive COLOR :Plum...almost pink ;)More good reviews than bad.So how does it do in the airport? Not sure. Hasn't gone for the first real test yet. But, you can be sure if it breaks, I will avail myself of that lifetime no-questions-asked WARRANTY. For now... it passes the one handed spin test at home. New code on TSA lock easily set. (Instructions on briggs-riley website.) Product registration done. Receipt copied and filed in warranty folders with phone backup. It looks and feels high quality. If it passes the real use test and lasts more than 4 years, it will be worth it.

Briggs & Riley Tall Carry-on Expandable Spinner (Fire)
Great looking and had enough room for 4 night stay (with help from an additional personal carry on backpack). Performed brilliantly at the airport and fit into the overhead without any issue. The expandable feature is a nice touch and allows for extra clothing while maintaining the original size of the bag. You are definitely paying a lot for the quality and the guarantee on this bag but I thought it was worth it. The price on Amazon did fluctuate quite a bit in the relatively short time I was looking at this bag (2 months or so) so keep that in mind. I'll probably purchase another one in the near future.

B&R Sympatico CX Hardside luggage is Fab!
Bought this piece to complete a set and it arrived on time and in perfect condition. I now have all 3 cases. Love the set. Purchased and took the medium case and the weekend tote to London in 2019 and immediately fell in love. I enjoy the compression feature, split case feature to separate item easier, ease of handling, sturdiness, warranty, and the beauty of the pieces in this line.

Aesthetically pleasing, and very spacious. I’ve upgraded from a Briggs and Riley carry on.I’ve pointed out the pros. However, the cons would be the lack of pockets. In my old bag, there was a pocket for everything and because of this I deceptively could fit so much more in there. The lack of compartments makes this case more difficult to organize. But on the plus side, every thing fits, organized or not. I guess I’m just a stickler for organization.

The Best of the Best
Just super! We now have two of them. Yes, the airlines scratch and mark them but they are rugged, they roll very easily, they pack nicely. Can't say enough about them. We also have the large soft side that is nice also but we find the hard sided ones to be much better. AND they all have a life time guarantee no matter what the airlines do to them!!!

great luggage
Light and rolls very smoothly. The expansion feature is a little tricky since it doesn't lock into place. But overall it's attractive and works well.

Beautiful Luggage
You can't beat the lifetime guarantee of a Briggs and Riley. I've got at least 4 pieces from them that I'll use forever. The sympatico is the best line in my opinion. I much prefer the lightweight hard body suitcase, especially with how airlines treat them. This thing rolls so smoothly and looks good doing it also.

Worth the price. Built to last.
Simple to use and the compression feature is great. The various handles (handle height) and strong wheels made it very easy to travel with even though it's a large suitcase.

Great piece of luggage
Good usage Of space. Compacts the clothing well. unfortunately it does not have any zippered pouches in the interior to loose articles. However it wheels very smoothly and takes baggage loader handling well without the damage they normally do when handing the luggage

Excellent design and build
As a frequent traveler I was previously using a Samsonite rucksack and a medium check-in suitcase when travelling for 1 week or more, and I would inevitably take more than I needed because I had to fill the space. I had also worn all the rubber off the wheels of my old Samsonite trolley bag that I used for shorter trips, so I decided it was time to upgrade.I did a lot of research, looking first at Rimowa and Tumi, but finally decided on Briggs and Riley due to the positive reviews and the lifetime warranty. Its ability to expand solved the concerns I had about travelling only with check-in luggage. I also bought the B&R @work small expandable brief, which fits my HP Elitebook perfectly, and attaches easily to the handle of the Sympatico International Carry-On.I have used the bags together twice for 1 week trips, and have not yet needed to pack the Spinner in its expanded form. Compared with before its now so effortless to rush through the airport terminal, I will have to find another way to burn off the calories.
