**03/11/17 Update-- I changed my review to 5 stars bc I had my Dr do a urine culture and she gave me a copy of my initial printout. I did a test at home with these strips to compare and the results of the 2 tests match up. The info on her printout is not in the same order as the test strip's, but as you can see in my 3rd photo, my strip (right next to the Dr's printout) gave the same results.**I have frequent bladder infections that don't give me symptoms until they get really bad. I travel a lot and I'm always afraid I'll be caught off guard by one. I was curious if I could catch them earlier by testing at home. I also have an elderly cat with kidney disease and I want to monitor her health.I can't guarantee the accuracy of these strips per se, but I can say that I read reviews that other brands' strips were giving false positives with tap water. I followed the instructions and used the results guide on the bottle. I tested 2 strips each in bottled water, tap water, my own urine, my husband's, and my cat's. I dipped the stick in each sample for 3 seconds. My husband and I are both healthy, but my cat's kidney disease made the outcomes somewhat predictable.As you can see from the photos, there were no false positives from the bottled or tap water. Mine and my husband's samples were both in the normal ranges and my cat's reading came out as I expected. The strips seem to be working properly.I gave the strips 4 stars bc I can't guarantee the strips are correct on my sample without going to the Dr and confirming that I don't have a bladder infection right now.

I purchased this brand of reagent strips based on the overall reviews. I stored it correctly and the expiration date on the box was 5/21/19. However, when I started getting UTI symptoms, I did 3 test strip samples over the period of 24 hours. All 3 tests indicated a negative for UTI (leukocytes, nitrates, and blood). However, I went to the doctor the same day, and his tests and labs confirmed a UTI with all three indicators present. The tests strips gave me a false negative. I feel this brand of reagent strips is unreliable.

I have a bladder condition called IC that mimics a UTI. I have been to the doctors on many occasions to get a urine test only to find out that I didn't have one. Or, conversely I have had symptoms and assumed it was my IC when I truly did have a UTI and waited to long resulting in a kidney infection. After my last flare up I decided to buy these strips to save myself the time and hassle. They work great. I am happy with the results and there are a ton of test strips.

I love these strips for checking my dog's blood sugar. I find them extremely helpful by taking the guesswork out of Daisy's (my dog) blood sugar range. Daisy tolerates being pricked twice daily with insulin, I don't think she will let me do it again with a meter. I use the strips as needed or when I think something is off. Daisy is insulin resistant, so there's a lot of ups and downs and these strips help me cope!One thing to mention, these strips will go bad when factory seal is broken if not used completely in about 3 months, I need to purchase often for reliability.

Just came back from my urology appointment & I do have a UTI although numerous tests with your strips did not indicate positive leukocytes, nitrites or blood. These strips are useless!!! Do not buy!

I compared the results of these strips back to back on the same sample vs Mission strips and these report negatives where the Mission (correctly) reported positive and trace. Either these are old, just not as sensitive, or just fake.UPDATE: While the product didn't work for me, the seller went out of their way to get me a full refund even though I didn't request one.

Wonderful For Pregnant Woman. Having these urine test strips at home allow you to know what's going on in your body and prevent all problems early. I actually started using urine test strips during my pregnancy with both of my children. By doing so I was able to quickly notice when I was showing protein or getting dehydrated. Both of these things can cause serious problems, though easily corrected when caught early. These are nice to have at home, if you suspect a UTI too. Oh and you can defiantly use them on your Pets, Kids (Like I do to prevent those extra runs to the Vets/Doctors Office)And the perfect time to test is in the morning.

As a paraplegic that self-caths 4-6x a day, I always have to be watchful of UTI's. Without feeling the normal discomfort associated with a UTI, I've had a few doozies that could have been prevented with early treatment. These test strips can give me enough early warning that I can often fight them on my own before they get out of hand.Several times I've compared the test strips to a lab's UA results, and while not always perfect, they are no more than plus or minus one "shade" of the lab's results. This is understandable, since the urine tested is usually from 2 separate samples an hour or longer apart. The one time I was able to test the same sample as the lab, the results were very close.
