Granddaughter is having so much fun with this. It seems to be good quality and brings back fun memories of the early 80s when I had my own!

Just how i remembered as a kid mostly. The black area for the pegs is 8in wide and 6 3/4in tall. There are templates they can use and plenty of pegs. Takes 3 AA batteries that do not come with it. My only issue was finding the on switch which is literally the size of a quarter and black right on the back. Push button to change light from steady to flashing and off. Bought 2 on prime deals for gifts, such a steal. Great kids gift. Fun and not really a screen. They can free hand pictures too.

The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 is because we did not have enough legs to complete on of the pictures. My 4 year old granddaughter was able to do this but was very disappointed when she ran out of pegs. Not sure why they had to be stingy with the pegs. The toy worked great. I like how the letters were color coded to make it easier for her age. It’s more compact than the older versions.

This makes a great gift. I know it will be fun to play with. I had one as a child and I loved it. This is going to be Christmas gift. I don’t know any facts about it. I’d say you could take it with you on vacation. It’s very thin.

It's kid. The paper is a bit tough to push the legs through. I wish it came with storage for the pegs and templates. I guess we just leave it in the box? The light works fairly well but it can be tricky with the multiple modes, though props to the multiple modes. Overall for the price and experience, it's adequate. Definitely could be better.

This toy is a blast from the past. Light bright has been enjoyed for many decades. I found this toy when I was a kid and you had to put an incandescent bulb. It was quite a fire hazard. But now with LED tech, It's not only much more vibrant, It's a lot safer and much less power requirements.This toy takes three double A batteries. At the back it's just an on/off button. But rather than just turning on and off it toggles between different modes of illumination such as blinking glowing sparkling and just full on. Too bad it does not have an auto off function.On the back of the light bright is a kickstand to make it stand alone.This kid comes with only a few templates and pegs. You can buy more pegs and templates online. Most likely within a week you will have to.This is an outstanding toy. It doesn't break a bank. And offers many hours of fun for a creative child.I highly recommend this even as a gift.
