Does the Job perfectly must have for anyone who works on bikes or builds their own.
Perfect for use with breaking the pistons free if you buy TRP DHR- EVO brakes. Which is a problem. TRP Don't come broken in, and I took it to shop to repair and they made it worse. So I purged the system, and did it all myself. Now works perfectly with 1 finger breaking. If I had it to do over I'd buy the Magura brakes. Bike is built of the LUNA CYCLES X2 Ludicrous base build, everything but the frame, engine and battery has been upgraded to top quality parts. If I could do it over I'd build from scratch, you can build a $10K bike for $5800 if you know where to get parts. Especially right now due to the release of 2024 Dampers by fox, 2023 Factory Kashima is under $500 on Jenson and my Fox Float X2 Kashima was 299.99. Plus new Fox 2024 dampers are getting not so great reviews. Save money build from Scratch. My next build is Dengfu E82, Bafang M560 motor 750watt Nominal 1000watt Peak, 1008wh 21amphr 52volt Battery. Don't buy Luna's Ludicrous because it overheats real fast if you take advantage of power over 1250watts with FW1. If you want a modded motor buy from Watt Wagons, or get the Bafang Ultra motor. We now have 3000watt Mid-Drive bikes out there, which is def worth looking into.

Perfect Tool for Tedious Job.
Perfect tool for intended job. I hesitated on this due to price, but am glad I added it to my tool box. Just beware that it is NOT recommended to be used directly on ceramic pistons as it could Crack or chip the piston. It is made to be used with pads in place. And with this tool it is very easy to separate the pads to reset the pistons. Quick and Easy!

Does what's described on the tin, even if it's a bit pricy
I'll give them credit where credit is due. While I initially was skeptical of Park Tool's "We have a tool for everything" vibe, this is a actually better than a flathead screwdriver. This is a bit thicker and wedge shaped. The flathead can't always reset pistons because the shaft comes in contact with the brake caliper housing before the piston is reset. One of my pistons was stuck about 20% open, which doesn't sound like much, but it was causing a preexisting warped rotor to be even worse. Even with this tool, I really had to brute force the piston closed, as I think it's a bit sticky after 2,100 miles. $20 is a bit steep for resetting pistons, but I guess I can give this to my children someday, haha.

Excellent, Makes the Job Easy
Prior to buying this tool I was using a screwdriver to try to press my hydraulic brake pads back into place which is a terrible idea and a quick was to damage the pads/pistons. This tool is not cheap and it’s hyper specialized, but this tool does the job so easily and without damaging the brake pads it’s worth the money. It will also last a lifetime.

Nice and easy to use.
Very easy to use. Whenever I swap wheels on my road bike, I use this to reset the pistons on my hydraulic brakes to remedy rubbing on the rotors. It's made by Park Tool which means is very sturdy and well tested for it's intended use. Has made my life easier during wheel swaps/maintenance

you gotta keep'em seperated!!!
works well, feels well made. The metal surfaces that come into contact with your brake pistons, is flat and smooth with no irregular surfaces to mar, scratch, or otherwise damage your piston when trying to press them back in the caliper.
