NOW Foods Glucomannan Pure Powder - 8 oz

I've been a cornstarch fan for years but had to find a substitute when I went grain free. This requires a much smaller amount compared to flour or cornstarch and works great. Don't know why more people don't use this.....

I not only use this product for dietary purposes but I also use it as a gluten-free thickener. I use it for hot or cold foods. I only need an 1/4 tsp for a cup of liquids. I have used it to thicken stews. No taste no lumps. I freeze a lot of stews and cornstarch does not hold up in the freezer but this does.

Awful reaction. I took one sip of this diluted in my smoothie and it immediately made me ill — heart racing, sweating, dizziness, thick mucus in my mouth, nausea, diarrhea. 2 hours later and I still feel like I might vomit. I drank three 8oz glasses of water afterward bc it says to take w plenty of water and I thought it would help dilute it in my system, but that didn’t really help. I’ll stick to real food/fiber. I exercise 4-5 days a week, eat well and am generally healthy w no issues. Do not recommend.

Didnt have a taste but clumps up quickly havent tried adding to hot ingredients

Best product for weight loss....

I'm impressed. I'm not easy to please plus was skeptical about this product but the satiation feeling it brings is real and it lasts hours. I can't talk about weight loss yet because I'm on my second day using it but once I'm taking the chance I'm not hungry to pick carefully what I eat I'm sure I will loose weight.

It helps, I used it with my protein shakes and makes me fell very full for a while. Is help me during meals to avoid to eat something else.
