Telescope Casual Original Mini-Sun Chaise Folding Beach Arm Chair, White-(74106D01)

I love this product. I have had 2 before this one. They last for years but eventually wear out with lots of use all summer. The only thing I wish was different is the part on the top back that allows you to lie down. I wish it folded for easier storage. When it is down flat it is comfortable on the legs because there is no bar right under the seat, as is true of many similar models.

I've used this about 6-8 times this summer.. every beach trip, I receive compliments on the chair. its a bright white - and the color has not faded and remains rather clean. My one complaint is the hand rest -- its a bit wobbly, and feels like a screw is gone or lose, which makes adjusting the chairs position a bit awkward. With that, I'm not sure its worth the $120+ price tag..

I got white because they were cheapest but now wonder if I should have. Renting nice chairs at the beach always seemed like a luxury to me, so I always bring my own. I've NEVER had phenomenal chairs but had some that we bought on sale made by Copa that have ended up being PERFECT. Year after year for the last ten plus they have been great. We washed them off and cleaned them before the end of each season and have used them throughout the year for yard parties, soccer games, pool trips. They are, however HEAVY. This year, as I watched in dismay at the decay that has crept into these steel chairs, I decided I would snap a shot of the rental models and google them to find out how much they would cost. These Telescope Casual chairs are not cheap, but are made in the USA and are legendary. The resort we visit each year rents them for half the year or more and they get pounded and hold up, day after day, after day. I figure if I take as good care as I did before these should last the rest of my adult life. Super comfortable. Stylish classics. Get some.

This chair looks like in the picture or better. It is made in the USA, which I like too. It is very light, which is great for carrying around, but because of Its lightness it also gets blown over by the wind into our chlorine pool and sits underwater for days at a time. That said, it has not started rusting yet, which is evidence of good American-quality galvanized steel material. It hasn't faded or changed color yet either. It gets bird poo often but it washes off and does not leave residue as on some other fabrics. I would buy this chair again. It leaves nothing more to be desired for the type of product it is.

We've bought 4 of these --- and our thoughts are the same.Rivets rusting after very limited beach use.Folding mechanism is poorly designed.Way over priced for what they are.

We purchased two and used for 1 season and the wooden arm rests have turned gray due to losing the sealer and stain. The hardware that stabilizes and connects the tubing has rusted since it is not aluminum. May be OK if you stay clear of pool water!

Telescope brand is durable, lightweight and the color will last. Your chair is an investment which will endure summers for years to come!

Disappointed in how well this chair is holding up. I bought this chair my wife on Mother’s Day. The summer is not even over and it is starting to tear on one of the edges. Also starting to rust. I bought this chair based on reviews saying it was the rolls Royce of beach chairs. Easily should last 10 years! At this rate it won’t hold up another summer. For the price it should be better
