The UCTRONICS Micro SD Male to Female Flexible Extender arrived exactly as expected and worked perfectly right out of the box. Installation was super easy, and it fit beautifully into my rackmount setup. I really love how it allows the SD card to be front-facing — it makes configuring and swapping cards on my Raspberry Pis so much more convenient. It’s a simple but incredibly useful accessory that saves a ton of hassle. I’ll definitely be buying more for future builds!

Just worked. Used it them to bring the sdcards out to the front panel of my mini mini rack. Pro Nice spring loaded action on the sdcard slot. Just long enough to bring the sdcard slot out the front panel. Con After a half twist to keep the sdcard slot on top, the cable barely made it, it could not be any shorter and still be useful.

I purchased the UCTRONICS desktop RPi cluster enclosure and neglected to purchase these at first. After having to pop nodes in and out to change SD cards, I went ahead and added these on. The cards latch nicely in the slots, making them easy to remove when they need reimaged. IO speed does not seem to be affected. For someone who is doing a good bit of testing, these are essential. And for 4 for $15 (my price), even for someone who doesn't reimage very often, these are a still an excellent price.

Really nice extension and the price was a gimme, but it's just a smidge too large for use in the Magex 10.1" display for the Raspberry PI systems (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FN81KTHW?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_5). If it were about 3mm shorter or 5mm narrower on the connector end - which it couldn't be due to the FFC 22 pin connector - it would have been a perfect fit. So ... it'll be a microSD to USB adapter for this application.

These have a problem when you plug it in to a Pi 5 (maybe others too). They will hang the reboot process. Pi will get stuck and you have to unplug the power then wait a few minutes and then it will work again for one time. I tried all 4 that i got, and they all do that. I put the sd card directly and no problems..

On my digital microscope (for taking pix of rocks), the location of the slot for the micro-SD card is inconvenient, so i use this extender to position the SD card more conveniently. So i don't have to turn the whole scope around to reach the card. Works great.

habe sie für meine Rasperry Pis benutzt wenn ich die SBCs irgendwo verbaut habe und schlecht an die SD Karte gekommen wäre,.. ...das waren die einzigen adapter/verlängerungen die funktioniert haben! TOP!

This is a great product, i was concerned with the length but it's got enough length to fit with a small amount over making it easy to fit, it also holds the Micro SD card securely by clicking into place , the to release press and it releases with a click I using a pi rack that fits 5 Raspberry PI's, the only criticism is that they only sell this in a pack of 4, could do with also a pack of 5 and others amounts for racks that take more than 4 Raspberry PI's
