Off and on the HDMI connection would fail and I had to unplug and plug in again. Tested with different cables, not the problem. Using a different USB hub now with same cable as before and no problem.

I've only owned this dock for about a week now, but I've had the opportunity to use it for as much as I intended to use it for. I was able to plug my Windows-based tablet into an HDMI monitor through the USB-C port while simultaneously plugging in a USB wireless mouse dongle and a corded keyboard. Everything worked great. For reference, the monitor was running 1080p @60Hz (with audio through the monitor), so nothing fancy, but for writing documents or basic streaming, that was all I needed. I was also able to plug the dock into my USB-C cellphone and access a USB flash drive without issue. I didn't transfer any files using my phone, but I did try testing out the dock and my flash drive on my tablet and my PC. My flash drive isn't high-performance enough to really test for any bottlenecking, but I did verify that the flash drive's max 55MB/s read (avg 15MB/s write) speed was the same on my tablet with the dock and my PC without the dock, so the dock is at least as good as I need it to be, anyway.As far as physical quality overall goes, the whole thing looks and feels pretty solid. I don't see any visible blemishes or signs of poor craftsmanship. The sockets all seem quite solid when I plug things into them. It looks and feels to me like it should last a good long time.

I've done the most testing with this using it to transfer files from some thumb drives to a new tablet that only had USB-C support.Worked fine for that purpose. Also did some testing on a laptop adding external keyboard and mouse and that also worked fine.I did a quick test with HDMI and that also worked OK for me, but another review indicated that they had intermittent issues with this hub when connected to a monitor, so bear that in mind, but that may have just been a defective hub.In my normal use case I don't need the HDMI output so I don't care too much about that, it you need that as a primary use case then be sure you do some extensive testing of the HDMI output to catch any issues while within the return period.Based on my testing and use case I think that this is a decent HUB.

Works great and super easy to use

I got this USB charging hub because I only have one USB C hub on my laptop. This allows me so much more connectivity options. I really needed this.

I found the USB C Hub to be the perfect solution for my problem. Using it with a MacBook Pro for a podcasting rig, I am able to plug in three logitech headsets for an alternative MIDI solution. The hub is great for this, but also helpful for connecting other wired devices (mouse, keyboard, external memory) to my laptop. A great value and a helpful product to have around.
