The Pampered Chef Large Round Stone with Handles on the Sides

History - I have a Pampered Chef pizza stone that has lasted over 20 years. I bought this one because it was a little bigger and handles would be useful taking the pizza in and out of the oven. We are pizza FANATICS! I used this new one TWO TIMES - once in a gas convection oven at 550 degrees. It was fine. The second time, I used in a barrel smoker that has been modified to a pizza oven. Temperature didn't go over 400 degrees - when I opened the door to check on the 2nd pizza we cooked, the pizza stone was in at least four pieces! It had cracked and basically fallen apart during the cooking process. Pizza was everywhere. I am so disappointed - I really have had the most amazing experience with Pampered Chef, this selection was a no-brainer. But I was not as fortunate with this one as I was with the original one (which also fell apart in the same manner on the same night). I have since gone to a cast iron pizza pan hoping it can last a little longer.

Purchased in feb 2018, cracked in July 2018!NOT worth the price!!!!

I had my first stone for over 20 years. Never cooked a pizza on it until 2019 when I started preheating it to 500 as instructed. After 5th time it cracked. Ordered a second one thinking I did something wrong. Was hesitant to cook at 500 again. Got up my nerve and started making pizzas again last week. This second one just cracked after the 7th pizza! I only cook one per day. It cools completely. I clean as I should and let dry. This is Pampered Chef! It should not be happening. Very disappointed.

Used this pan three times. During normal use on bake, heard a loud bang from the kitchen, open oven to find pan broken into multiple pieces. Contact seller...simple reply quite curtly was “outside return/refund window” although it was purchased in November 2018. Nothing further. Pampered chef will not back their product as it was not direct sale and went through a third party. So, waste your money if you want to. You’ve been warned that this is a P O S.

This was the worst pampered Chef stone I've ever received. I tried to contact the seller and inform them that the item broke after the first use in the oven with no luck. I gave up and bought another brand, a lot cheaper and better made.
