Sent back to manufacturer, they sent back and said nothing wrong with it!
Great if you want to sew one thickness of leather but, when you change thickness or need to step down when sewing a lighter piece to a thicker piece it throws off the stitches length and looks horrible, if you are just stitching belts it's great. I had nothing but problems with mine and sold it to a guy who was making custom belts. It's to bad because I really wanted this to work correctly.'

Tie the bobbin thread to main thread or use hemostats to hold the thread together when you start
I love my boss sewing machine. It will sew through anything. The learning curve is pretty steep on this, you just have to practice. I often glue my pieces together with white leather glue Pryor to sewing.

Don’t waste your money
If I could give it zero stars I would, this ain’t worth being a boat anchor. I’ve owned it a year and a half and can not make it stitch properly. I’m trying to get into leather work and this was the most expensive and worst investment and has pushed me away a lil bit from it all. And they wouldn’t take it back even though I kept it longer and gave it the benefit of a doubt but you can’t polish a turd
